It’s interesting that Wizard didn’t even consult him on trading. I would imagine they said something like you are part of our future at the end of the season but they think Portland’s offer is too good to pass on?

Im still confused on why the Wizards thought he didnt fit the timeline of what they are trying to do especially with his contract. I guess they value an expiring vet PG in Brogdon more?

Sucks to see Quick still out there trying to fish for drama. Guy is such a ghoul… Thought he retired or something, but I guess we can’t be so lucky.
Regardless, Deni answered all questions with aplomb, and I think he’s really going to be a good fit.

Banton sounded much more upbeat when he arrived – and Deni is in a much more promising position which I would hope would warrant a little more short and long term optimism 🤷
I was listening while busy, and couldn’t discern if it was one reporter or a few of em, but just felt very unprofessional. Lots of interrupting others and not giving him a second to see if he was done answering questions
Usually I love our media interviews like this cause they’re a good icebreaker to the org with friendly faces like Holdah and Brooke, but this felt like an interrogation that Deni handled well
