I remember around the start of FA they said Bulls were interested in Capela. Idk what the Hawks intend to do but they don’t own their 1st for years because they’re owed to SA; so until they show they really wanna trade Trae they gotta be as good as possible so I thought of this
Vuc would add a different Big that can score in the post that they can pair with Onyeka and they get an extra defender in Craig . We get a big expiring to run pick and roll with Giddey .
Honestly don’t mind this. Wouldn’t love to give up the second, but would be a good way to get off Vooch.

This would be great, but I’m not sure the Hawks even know what they are wanting to do….

I don’t like giving up on Craig yet, especially for Capela. Not sure how this makes the Bulls better?

Capela is beyond washed and I’m not entirely convinced he sets better picks than Vucevic anyway…better lob target, but I don’t think we’re looking to lob the ball to Clint Capela 10 times a night anyway.
Definitely wouldn’t give up draft capital and I don’t think Vucevic fits what Atlanta is looking for anyway. They need a shot blocker, not Vucevic. This is debatably lose-lose.

Hawks are pretty set at center between Okongwu Nance and Zeller

There’s no reason to give up assets to get off contracts that won’t affect us by the time the rebuild is complete.

I don’t want to have to give up picks to offload Vuc.

Swapping Vooch for Capela is such an obvious move on the Bulls end with their similar salaries. Because it’s so obvious, this would’ve already happened if Atlanta was interested in Vooch.

I’d love this so we could flip Capela at the deadline

Head’s up- Capela really sucks now.

Why does anyone care about this garbage poverty franchise anymore?
They’re not going to make moves. They’re not going to build for the future. They’re going to find a way to do as little as possible while still putting butts in seats and money in Reinsdorfs pocket.
Unsubscribing until Jerry dies or sells the team. It’s not going to get better.

I’d take Capela, if only because he can still defend better than Vuc, and he is on an expiring contract. But ATL might not want Vuc, so maybe a third team can take him. Are the Pelicans still looking for a Center?
