Pippin uh and it sounds weird to say that but it’s Scotty Pippen Jr and he went over to CH just so there’s no one to block him out and need he do the right thing he went right to the boards like he’s been taught since he was you know whatever grade in elementary school and he grabs it to dunk it because he’s 74 and he barely has to jump and he slams it off the back of the rim no one could believe it the arena erupted it was on fire it was unbelievable jez get the rebound run down get fouled hit the free throws to go up by three you can’t let him shoot a three you got a foul they did 8/10 of a second left make the first missed the second tip it in and Edie did it he shoved Kesler under the hoop like Kesler was in the third grade if that doesn’t motivate Walker Kessler in the wait room every day for the rest of this year nothing ever will I mean that was a large strong human being shoved him under the rim like a ragd doll but nonetheless you got shoved under the rim like a ragd doll so it goes to overtime and it’s tied at 95 and they get the ball and they got a breakaway one on none this is a layup BR dunk to win the game and they call timeout oops total chaos but it all ended well ke George hit the free throws and won the game keti had 30 we got ask the right questions here when we ask is he a better is he better as the as the lead guard the aka the point guard handling the ball or is he better playing off the ball his job is to score he can score it it’s like now given the matchup in any given game is what’s better and who else ultimately did the Jazz have on the roster do they have someone who has to play off the ball do he someone who is way way better on the ball how a roster is constructed around him and does this matter in the long run is he a piece in a long run or is he the kind of player that you have to include when you go big game hunting all good questions that we will not solve in this segment I just think prioritize getting him shots and if that means he needs a ball in his hand because he comes off the pick and roll and scores like Donovan Mitchell did great if he needs to play off the ball like marinin does great just make sure he scores and I like him getting to the free throw line good work I also thought that Collier had a good first game it’s one game of Summer League I don’t want to make any deep pronouncements here but I thought that was solid he scored it a little passed it grab some boards I think it’s 14 six and six for him nice I liked it and more than that I just thought the eyeball test I thought he looked like he belonged he fit it was good I that he was a guy that kind of jumped out at me in that regard both teams shot the ball terribly summer league is so ragged 40% shooting for both teams can you make 33% of your threes no you can’t no you can’t I mean it was just terrible shooting but it was dramatic it was fun hopefully it’ll be that much fun tonight Jazz are back in action against the Thunder 7 o00 hear the for Jaylen Herz uh you can make a case for Lamar Jackson uh there you know that that’s kind of the next Group after momes maybe put Stafford in there but he’s getting older think of our picking quarterbacks Joe burrow is the is the second guy I trust but he’s got to stay healthy I mean he’s been hurt multiple times he takes too many hits It’s been a story since he went to the Bengals they which clearly have other objectives their businesses they’re not trained to do this they’re not schooled to do this they don’t have experience doing this and then when they do it wrong we look at them and why do these guys do it wrong well they’re not trained they’re not schooled they don’t have experience and over here they’re running a business trying to win and trying to make money and then they make a bad decision and we’re surprised why would we be surprised to have to lean on our politicians so the court system dishes out a punishment that we all think is appropriate and then when you’re done with that whatever that turns out to be then you get to re-enter society and go have a job and do whatever cuz teams are going to keep messing this up I mean there’s just no way around that DJ think it’ll be real confusing to the game no the game’s in Las Vegas tens of thousands of you fans will go hundreds of Miami fans will fly let me tell you living in a sun Bel Market I know a little something about this when you live in some glorious place like San Diego Miami your urge to travel for sports drops when you live somewhere bitter cold like Wisconsin you load up your motor home and you follow them to Arizona or California or Texas or Florida whatever their bowl game is it’s amazing there’s 50,000 people here yeah the weather’s terrible we’re going some place glorious Miami doesn’t draw that well at home I can’t imagine they going to fly 20,000 people across the country to Las Vegas that’s going to be a Utah home game it’s going to be on the ESPN family of network sometime on Labor Day weekend depending on how good the teams are and how good they’re expected to be when we get there they’ll uh they’ll give it a time slot and a date but somewhere on the ESPN family of networks and maybe it’ll be the game moved to Monday we’ll have to see how it plays out but hey it’s a good game it’s a brand name it’s essentially a home game I mean the has really benefited because people have to go there for bowl games they have to go down there for these season openers in Atlanta and Dalles way way closer for uh Bama fans and Texas fans than it is for anybody else haven’t gone to that Utah Texas bowl game in San Antonio 45 minutes up the road there’s a thousand UD fans and look at that from Texas everybody’s in burnt orange so I would think everybody would be in red in that game in Vegas in a few years all right stick around Big 12 media days coming up coaches players the conference commission about 11 o’ PK will be uh live and well we’ll see we could down to the ground exactly cuz then just round it to 450 cuz you don’t really know just give it to him give the kid the 450 450 you’re right 449 somebody hates the rookie what did he do in doublea you put the game’s best at elevation there’s less resistance on the breaking stuff and it’s hard to get great pitching because nobody wants to make half their starts in that because they’re going to get paid off their stats and their stats aren’t going to be as good and you’re at a Perpetual disadvantage because of the elevation I do not know the answer to this question I wish I did I know what we see in Triple A baseball but I know Triple A baseball is different because the pitchers aren’t getting to choose largely where they get to go pitch and there’s multiple places at elevation Reno’s elevation is about the same Albuquerque’s elevation Colorado Springs is even higher you can go up and down the list right now when there’s only one or two of you in the big leagues and free agency matters what happens where do pitchers want to be the Rockies have largely been awful there was a great playoff run once upon a time but man it was a lot of losing seasons and a lot of hopeless just you look at the roster and right out of the gate it confirms yeah they’re no good I mean this team if you didn’t know by May it’s CU you didn’t care by May everybody knew yeah the Rockies are no good intrigued by the Drone shows I haven’t seen one in person but I saw a couple of them on social media over the 4th of July and they were pretty cool they were doing enormous designs in the sky like fireworks all you know the radio station will partner up and there’ll be music and you’ll listen and all that and so some people on the fourth did drone shows instead of the fireworks as uh as Tony pointed out uh yeah we’re not giving up the fireworks cuz they packed the ballpark but hey we got a night over here we’re not doing I think it’s a Thursday night it might be this Thursday with
