Utah Jazz Fans Should Be Worried!

Utah Jazz Fans Should Be Worried!

did you guys see the Jazz last night I don’t know that most people were watching anything but Zach Edy because Walker Kessler was spectacular last night now if we’re being honest one of the things we’ve talked about so readily is this idea that keante is undervalued and that Walker kler is available for trade which he is now I’m asking just a blunt direct question why are we not seeing this walker kler in the regular season oh that’s right because this young Phenom of a head coach and will hardy doesn’t know how to use him yeah what’s the other narrative that jazz fans always get pissed off about when we say it on this show they don’t develop their young guys what did Keon George last night do that should be terrifying oh he he built a brick house last night the guy could not hit water from the boat unless he was standing on the free throw line what was the story on key last year can’t shoot what’s the story on key this year can’t shoot am I the only one that’s that’s worried about that yeah I mean it’s it’s amazing am I the only one that when I look at some of these numbers um am I the only one that’s worried about Taylor Hendricks who was in absolute no show in this game and I don’t know how much of the game you watched but yeah watching a pretty good amount of that game Taylor Hendricks was a zero yeah I mean you know my my biggest thing from last night with Taylor Hendricks is I mean obviously the stats speak for themselves right but like the bigger thing to me that stood out was that he just doesn’t like when you’re a rookie and you come into the league like the way Taylor Hendricks has obviously your rookie season there’s the excuse of hey it’s your rookie season you’re trying to figure it out you know the game will slow down for you you know you’ll you’ll become a more matured season player in that sophomore year and you’ll you you’ll go from not having any chance to now competing but maybe you got to refine your jumper like this or that I don’t even feel like Hendrick is there I still feel like Taylor Hendricks is pretty much the same guy he was in his rookie season I think it’s largely to the point you’re making which is whether it’s hris keante uh you know Walker Kessler or the discrepancy between summer league Kessler and regular season Kesler like these guys are not improving on anything did you I mean key last night was two of 11 from three now and everybody got their swo on well I scored 30 points Monty what what more you want I want something other than two of 11 from three last night yeah 17 points from the free throw line that’s that’s problematic well the selfish of it was was a bigger issue too I mean I you know you you have to especially as a guard I don’t care if you’re one or two or like you know that I don’t really care about that distinction as a guard you’re going to shoot the ball quite a bit and and you have to understand when you’re cold you got to be a playmaker and get the ball to guys who are hot and that’s what troubled me last night that two of 11 from three situation you should not be saying to Keon George and summer league shoot every three what you should be saying is hey we’re looking for six threes a night six seven attempts T night and we’re looking for you to make three of those in addition to 10 trips to the free throw line or in addition to you know playing much better pick and role with Walker Kessler because that relationship hasn’t quite been developed yet like that’s what we should be saying but I think this will hardy conversation’s a big one dude like it’s very clear that Walker cast last night against Ed was willing to fight him and bang with him and do everything he needs to do and we just I that’s not the Walker Kessler we got in the regular season no it’s not and I don’t know why why it’s so difficult to get that out of him and I’m not even saying it’s Walker’s fault I I’m saying it’s the position you’re putting him in because I do think we saw flashes of it but you telling me that this guy goes from what he did last night to being a bench player in the regular season come on now and Cody Williams what did I tell you about Cody Williams MH kid that can get to the rim but he’s going to struggle to shoot what did he do last night got to the rim and missed a wide openen three-pointer do the Jazz develop young guys yeah I’m not convinced they do well and you’re not going to get a free pass on ker either like klier is clearly somebody who should be a a starting guard uh Who projects to I I I think he’s got the talent to work himself into a uh an allar in this league he he can shoot it he’s got the right mentality he’s strong like everything you want yet two years from now what do we get what you know is he still gonna be here we we still gonna be talking about this or that with him or will he be the guy he should be uh Oak State James gives us $5 watching uh between my meetings I watched the Board of Regents meeting at Florida State a few months ago the lawyer said the ACC didn’t do their job and agreed to a lame TV deal now you get to prove that yeah now you get to prove that fat Jesus never trust a man who still wears Lee Jeans exactly right Jake that’s why I don’t trust you right K nurin now that Zach is getting married he should be a star in Denver okay okay the mil Hunter is off the market apparently and she is uh Jimmy odson says like number 57 thank you

The Utah Jazz saw an almost unreal performance from Walker Kessler in the opening game of the NBA Summer League season for the Utah Jazz. Walker Kessler and the Utah Jazz seem to be heading in opposite directions as Kessler was relegated to the bench last season, and had what sources say was a fractured relationship with Utah Jazz Coach Will Hardy. Is Walker Kessler part of the Utah Jazz core, or is he just another asset available for trade?

  1. Keyonte waste to much oportunities and he clearly can´t shut the ball. I don´t know why they give him the leadership of the team, it´s unreal.

  2. Why is 17/19 from the free throw line a bad thing? Who else on the team was capable of creating their own shot while on the floor with Keyonte. Thanks for looking at a stat sheet and paying no attention to the game. Glazing Kessler when he had 2 defensive rebounds and hating Keyonte for getting to the free throw line 19 times is a weird take.

  3. Hardy said that Walker Kessler is going to be a shooting center. But they still won't let him shoot. If there developing Kessler why aren't they giving him the ball to shoot sometimes. They just can't develop a center. If we need to get a center that can shoot we have to go find someone cuz we can't develop a shooting center. I've seen him shoot in h.s and college he can shoot. But they just want him to defend block. What a waste of talent. It would open up everything if we can get Walker to shoot wether it's 3 pointers or hook shots.

  4. Keonta is all for him self. He's a ball hog. Very cocky. Not a team player. Very disappointed. But when he decides to share the ball and passes he throws it away. Cuz his first thought is to shoot so when he sees something like he can pass it's because the other teams are baiting him to and then they know and steal the ball. Or the collapse on him before he can get that change of thought to pass. So he's always one step slower.
