The Boston Celtics Uniqueness is BRILLIANTLY TWISTED

back in Games 1 and two of the 2024 NBA Finals Drew holiday had 38 points 19 rebounds eight assists and zero turnovers the last player with 38 plus points and zero turnovers in Games 1 and two in the finals was Michael Jordan holiday replacing fundamental franchise building blocks in 2022 dpoy Marcus Smart and 2023 Sixth Man of the Year Malcolm Brogden was the final piece to the Celtics Championship puzzle and given Drew was the backbone to the Celtics 2024 championship winning defense securing his second championship in 3 years therefore time to announce the winner of the Tenacious D MVP award and this year the most tenacious defender in the NBA is true holiday hello it is Tenacious D here with Drew holiday Drew you have won the Tenacious D MVP award how does it feel man it’s an honor you know um look at that beautiful thing just how long the shaft is and those basketballs down there at the bottom look beautiful and and bronzy it’s uh it’s really dream come true if anyone’s a baller it’s h Dre and that’s Tenacious D over and out Payton pritchard’s 50 plus foot buzzer beater in the Celtics game five Championship ceiling victory was one of the most miraculous shots in the history of basketball Pritchard had already become known for making inconceivable heaves at the buzzer look routine which included draining a pullup from 38 ft in game two of the finals during both earlier in the playoffs and the regular season Pritchard foreshadowed what he did in the finals by knocking down two buzzer beating shots from half court in the same game against the Wizards fast PP also banked one in from just inside half plus the foul against against the 76ers earlier in the season then in the second round of the playoffs pulled up from 40 in the face of both Darius Garland and Caris LeVert this made it fitting yet shocking when the nicest halfcourt heave from the king of them came in the final game of the Celtics season to clinch the title Pritchards a killer from literally any spot on the floor built for the brightest lights and toughest shots Pritchard was a four-time state champion at weslin High School before becoming an Oregon Duck and eventually winning the 2020 Bob Koozie plumber award as the ncaa’s best point guard in that season a prestigious honor and the Celtics getting him at pick number 26 in that year’s draft was a steal finals MVP Jaylen Brown and fellow top option Jason Tatum’s commitment to playing far less ISO ball was a catalyst to Boston Going the Distance in 2024 the Jay’s respective performances were fairly even from a statistical standpoint from the sidelines how Joe Missoula got the best out of his two top players getting them to both coexist and perform selflessly may just be the primary driving factor to the Celtics winning the title to portray how almost sickeningly downto Earth humble Joe moua really is a unique trait many basketball fans and those surrounding Sports in general now a days tend to share Derek white described his favorite moment with the should have been reigning defending coach of the year he won coach of the month and I was like Hey congratulations he just looked at me and said nobody cares bench mob staple Sam Hower also let his stance be known on Joe’s unique methods I would just say he’s like got a unique approach to the game he pulls things from like soccer teams pulls things from uh like killer whales and how they go about finding food and and prey things like that and he ties it into the game of basketball and I think it’s a unique way to go about it but it’s it’s different and it’s cool and it’s engaging having out coached the man labeled as the association’s top Man In Charge being Eric spola to go along with JB bicker staff Rick Carlile and Jason kid all in one playoff run it was strange yet compelling types of motivation tactics from Missoula which were ubiquitous for Boston All Season to teach the Celtics about competition Missoula would regularly show The Players UFC fights in order to teach his team quote unquote the closer you are to beating someone the closer you are to getting your ass kicked we’ll get back to how uniquely tenacious the Boston Celtics head coach’s tactics are but the bottom line is Joe moula has been a winner throughout his entire basketball career 14 years ago in 2010 as a player at West Virginia University in the Elite 8 of the NCAA March Madness Tournament against the PowerHouse John calip Perry coached wall Boogie cousins Eric bledo Patrick Patterson Kentucky Wildcats Missoula scored a career-high 17 points in his first start of his senior season leading the Mountaineers to a 7367 upset Joe out played two top five NBA draft picks to get West Virginia into the final four that year signifying his championship pedigree after Missoula played at West Virginia the New Englander took jobs as an assistant coach at the division 2 college basketball league level with Glenville State and Fairmont State in 2016 he’d then Tak an assistant job with the main red Claus in the g-league the Celtics minor league affiliate he would then get the head coaching job at Fairmont State before getting hired by the Celtics again in June 2019 to be a part of Brad Stevens coaching staff ever since taken over from em udoka after the scandal in 2022 Missoula stepped in without hesitation and strived to be nothing other than himself and that’s led to some precious Insanity last season as a rookie head coach in film sessions Missoula would show the team images of sand castles which he used as an example of the fact that even the best castles get washed away by the daily tide requiring them to be rebuilt don’t forget when in this past season moula sprinted to contest Phoenix’s Royce O’Neal’s practice shot heading into a timeout detailing that move by saying I saw a guy going in to get a shot and he had it made one and I didn’t want him to feel good about himself going to the bench that’s the bench rule if I’m going to ask the guys to contest staff’s going to do the same describing his individuality that’s led to the utmost success in 2024 Missoula would say we can laugh about it but at the end of the day I think you have small moments in your organization to set the temperature of what you want to be about we did that last year and thinking back that’s an important thing that mindset that we try to bring that we’re going to bring it every day that we want our opponents to constantly be uncomfortable we don’t want to give them an edge at any point holiday would detail missoula’s Twisted originality by saying you go with it you go with the craziness I think maybe it’s controlled Madness I think it’s definitely his way of preparing us and I feel like preparing himself and I feel like it’s been working it’s fun it’s different Joe definitely brings a spark and some weird energy Payton Pritchard would put it best on Missoula though saying he’s really himself he’s like authentic to himself we appreciate that he’s not trying to be somebody he’s not so I think that’s kind of the sicko side of it he’s different but we respect that then the basketball genius you can learn a lot from him as to see how he sees the offensive side of things the play calling the game management all that he’s a lead in that I’ve personally learned a lot from him and I think our whole group has including the regular season and playoffs m record is now 148 and 55 as an NBA head coach a 72.9% winning percentage among all coaches with at least 200 games in NBA history Missoula has been the most successful which has much to do with his relentlessness to be himself at all costs and to go by his own book while trusting his path to success no matter what that entails you have to give the utmost credit to Joe for Boston’s 2024 championship

This video outlines how all of starting point guard and MVP defender Jrue Holiday earned an esteemed tribute, backup point guard Payton Pritchard and most prominently head coach Joe Mazzulla each had a critical impact on Boston’s 18th championship as a franchise and their first since 2008. Stay tuned
