Damn no one wants him. Pay him at a cheaper rate and hope he balls out during the season and try to trade him again

Our best bet might just be to talk him down from a max deal. Best way to do that is to win games. I’m sure the extra money would be cool, but contending and building a legacy is what BI doesn’t already have.

Bruh they don’t want to pay Trae young and just gave up Dejounte Murray for Larry nance and Dyson Daniels to avoid paying him.
Why would they want to pay Brandon? This is one of those that shouldn’t need explaining.
Similar to the Brandon to the jazz trades. Why would they bring him back? He won’t bring more assets for a rental. He won’t resign there.
Heat, spurs, hornets (hornets especially I find interesting) are teams I’d look at but still don’t see it happening.
Pels need to do something as they have an awkward roster but feels like they missed the window

This isn’t really surprising if you look at ATL’s salaries. They need to pay Jalen Johnson who will be a RFA next year. If they paid BI that would put them at 162M in salary before paying Johnson who will probably get $30M+. A 25% max would be around $38M a year. This would put ATL in the tax with 11 guys. They would probably be a first tier tax team and BI would be blocking out the number 1 pick in the draft from getting PT.
