Dirk left some massive shoes to fill, as winner, leader, and face of Dallas. Luka still has a lot of catching up to do. For some strange reason, people think it’s a given that Luka will get a statue like Dirk.
I’ve had Luka stans tell me the Mavs were an irrelevant loser franchise before Luka showed up lmao

What sucks though is they only have one ring to show for it. 2006 really messed up the mavericks trajectory because I genuinely feel they could have gone back to back on 06 and 07
