MAJOR Bulls Rumors On Trading Nikola Vucevic For Walker Kessler | NBA Rumors

[Music] what’s going on everybody welcome into the Bulls report my name is Patrick seatman and coming up on today’s show I wanted to talk about the idea of the Bulls possibly trading Nia vuvi for Walker Kessler as we have heard that he is on the trade block for the Utah Jazz so could the bulls pull it off we’ll break it down on today’s show and then also coming up on the second half of today’s show I do want to talk about the possibility of Kobe white being an Allstar next season we’re going to look at the other guards in Eastern Conference what Kobe’s going to need to do how he could take that next step this upcoming year and truly become one of the best guards in the Eastern Conference but before we dive into this all guys I got to show you guys an updated look at our sub battle we have going on this month shout out to all the real ones in the chat right now we have actually fourth here in the chat sports sub battle um across all NBA teams in the month of July have picked up 56 4 Subs so far I love that I really appreciate that and plus since the Bulls you know we are one of the smaller newer channels here at chat sports if we could somehow beat the Nicks now channel and Subs this month I would really appreciate it so hit that subscribe button help our case to cross over 9,000 subscribers for lual dang but Walker Kessler is on the trade block right now and this was uh tweeted out by Evan cidery coming in for me and Begley says the Jazz are asking for at least a first round pick in Walker Kessler trade discussions Utah appears very open listening to offers for the 7 foot rim protector now where do the bowls com in this could they package you know Nicole vuvi maybe one couple second round picks and maybe even a first round pick to land this uh you know one of the best defensive Setters in the NBA and listen I’m a huge fan of Walker Kessler um his first two seasons he’s been really good and you you guys uh should probably focus in here on the offensive rebounds per game and the blocks per game is you know he ranks highly in both those categories across the NBA and you know averaging two and a half blocks a game throughout his first two seasons very efficient basketball player as well never tries to play out of his you know own abilities on that side of the floor hence why his field goal percentage is so high but almost averaging a double double love the way he hits offensive glass is a big time body um and I really do think he would be a good fit on this Bulls unit and listen I do think Walker Kessler he could be one of the best defensive centers in the NBA if he isn’t already if he is given the opportunity and I actually do think the opportunity could be with the Chicago Bulls you know he is only 22 years old we know the Bulls are shifting to this youth movement and this rebuild and I think Kessler would be a great great option for the Bulls it’s maybe a long turn Center play at that position but Kessler he is only 22 years old so he would fit into that youth movement he would uh fit into that rebuild hopefully heading our way for the bullets but he’s 7′ one with a 7 fo6 long wingspan so critical in terms of protecting the rim he was the 22nd overall pick in the 2022 NBA draft out of Auburn so what would a trade look like for Walker Kessler possibly heading to the Chicago Bulls well what about this so we do know the Bulls are trying to attach these two first round picks they got from the Sacramento Kings in a Zack ofine trade but let’s just say they can’t pull that trade off and they want to move off V maybe we could see them attach those to a walker Kessler deal and then you can also throw in that Portland C Blazers pick that is Lottery protected but just gives you know more ammunition to this trade and from the jazzz side of things like it has been very clear that Danny a and that jazz front office they want to be at the Forefront of the next two drafts so you could give them you know another first round pick for next season from Portland and two second round picks this could just be more ammunition for them to possibly trade up in next year’s draft if they do not win the lottery and you know if they do end up you know moving off Lorie Markin in as you know rumors are flying around that I could see them maybe trying to move off Kesler as well he is on a oneyear $2 million deal so they probably don’t want to necessarily pay him and maybe they could go after Vu who has two years you know $40 million left on his deal but you know I do think Vu would be a good fit in Utah because you know I’m not saying like this would help their case for tanking but I do think this would you know help them kind of push back their timeline a little bit and you know for the main main reason of that is you know Vu on that deal of two years $20 million like if you keep Kesler and then you know he’s uh he’s going to get around 2025 million probably on his next deal I don’t necessarily see the Jazz wanting to do that so if this is the deal that goes down where it’s Walker Castle heading to the Bulls and the Jazz are receiving v a first and two seconds I’m not sure if Utah does this they’re probably going to have better offers out there on the table but maybe it goes dry and maybe they’re looking at Vu as a guy who can just play that Center position help develop some of their young guards you know there in Utah and plus if they do end up moving off Lori marinin and Walker Kessler they’re going to be at the Forefront of the you know tanking job that we’ll see a lot of these teams have for a Cooper flag but you guys let me know would you accept this deal or would you decline it give me an a for accept down in the comment section or a d for Decline and if you’re a jazz fan coming across this video let me know your thoughts um I do think this is a trade that probably favors the both side of things but hey maybe if you’re a jazz fan just let me know your thoughts down below as well you know from a bulls perspective I think this is an easy accept I think he would be absolutely perfect in terms of having a player at that Center spot where he is defensive minded and you know I want to put together this lineup real quick and we’ll show it for you guys um this would be one of the most versatile young lineups in the NBA and this is assuming the Bulls are able to move off Zack cine you know my prediction right now is that the Lakers end up calling and they you know get aggressive trying to take you know advantage of you know last couple years of LeBron Ron in ad but if you could run out this lineup of Josh giddy Kobe white Patrick Williams jayen Smith playing some stretch four and then Walker Kessler the defensive Center all under the ages of 24 years old jayen Smith can stretch the floor has that stretch ability and then you would have the defensive anchor in Walker Kessler and also the elite defensive Wing in Patrick Williams I like this lineup obviously you know the defensive ability in the backourt would be a huge red flag on this unit but it would be fun and plus this lineup not going to win a lot of games you could have these guys devel and then just really sit yourself you know in a position when the lottery rolls around next season to potentially land a top five pick but those are my thoughts on Walker Kessler and coming up here I’m going to explain to you guys why Kobe white could become an Allstar next season it’s actually more likely than you think but before we dive into that guys I want to tell you guys about the sweet deal going on right now comments and description of today’s show but chatsports.com bows combo so we really saw the breakout for Kobe white this past season um more specifically when zackin um did get hurt obviously the shots per game went up the usage rate went up and we just saw a better offense of production coming in from Kobe white but in 362 minutes per game he was able to average around 19 points 4 and a half rebounds five assists and he was very efficient as well and that was the key spot when you’re talking about these younger players taking that next step once their usage rate once their shot per game goes up can they maintain that efficiency well Kobe white did that on 44.7% from the field and 37.6% from downtown and you know a big reason why I do think Kobe white could be an All-Star next season is I love the idea of him playing more off ball this year with Josh giddy running the one and you know I think Kobe white I think he did a great job as The Bull point guard this past season but I think you know for him to reach his max potential here in the league it’s probably him playing more off ball in comparison to him last year he had the ball in his hands you know more than any player on the Chicago Bulls and you know some Advanced that that um I think backed this up so this is points per spot up where Kobe white was absolutely fantastic he averaged 1.10 points which actually ranked him in the 68.4 percentile that was fantastic that’s really up there in the NBA and I think with Josh giddy he’s going to get a whole lot more of those opportunities and also points per closeout he was up there in the 70th percentile as well but points per isolation you know he was pretty down at 32.4 uh percentile on that one which is you know obviously he was getting majority of the you know looks defensively you know they were blitzing him like crazy coming off those screens and also as a ball handler he’s still ranked pretty high at 0 N3 points per uh pick and roll which was in the 68.8 percentile in the entire league but how could Kobe white make the All-Star Game well he’s GNA need one of these guys um to fall off so these are the five guards in the Eastern Conference that made the All-Star Game this past season and Damen loward Tyrese halberton Jaylen Brunson Tyrese Maxi and Donovan Mitchell and I think halton’s going to be an All-Star again Brunson will Tyrese Maxi will of course and Donovan Mitchell will be as well but if there’s one guy that you know Kobe White could try to take his spot it’s probably Damen loward and you know if maybe Dame has a year where you know father times tapping him on his shoulder and he’s only averaging about 22 points per game you know maybe he’s not the most efficient basketball player like he was you know this past season and maybe Kobe white goes out there and he averages you know 24 25 points per game an incredible efficiency maybe gets up to like six assist I could be looking at Kobe white being that fifth guard you know coming off the bench for the Eastern Conference Allstar so the biggest way that Kobe white makes the All-Star Game I guess there’s two ways him he takes that jump where he’s averaging 23 24 points per game very efficient as well and also maybe UPS his playmaking output um there also but then also you’re going to need a down Year from Damen L he is going to you know he he just can’t have a year even on the same level as Kobe because they would just automatically give the nod to Dame because the Bucks are more likely going to have the better record than the Chicago Bulls so you know I think Kobe white I’m not saying he’s got a good chance to be an All-Star as there are a lot of talented guards in the SE Eastern Conference but I definitely do see a path where we could be sitting there and uh you know mid-February rolls around and we’re cheering on Kobe white in that All-Star game let’s show Kobe white some love to wrap up today’s show type his jersey number
