I got to say something about these great athletes and things that drive them (also have Luka in mind).
Sometimes fans prefer them to stay out of national teams competitions because they cost a lot of money to their teams and shouldn’t risk their health. Money however, are not what drives them anymore. They are young guys under 30 and they have enough money for 10 lifetimes.
If they were thinking rationally they would retire today and enjoy the rest of their lives in luxury and comfort. They are working out all day and go through injuries because they have the passion to compete. For whatever personal reason they’re out there and give their hearts out just applaud them and enjoy them. Don’t ask for them to sit out. Because if they lose the passion for the game and just be professionals, they will very soon stop being top players.
