Meet the Los Angeles Lakers NEW 7’2” REBOUNDING MACHINE Joining Bronny James & Knecht | Moses Brown
so far the peak of the Los Angeles Lakers underwhelming offseason has been watching their incoming rookies dton connect and bronnie James finally getting on the floor to Showcase their talents that’s just the unfortunate reality fans of purple and gold find themselves in as their main roster is completely full without a single signing they could make until the front office finally makes a deal where more players are being shipped out than coming in fans including myself are getting desperate for the Lakers to bring some fresh talent to add to the mix but to be fair it seems as though the front office is doing what they can given their tight situation to at the very least cycle through some potential end of the bench editions once the trade’s finally made as many of you guys may already know it was just reported the leers have signed free agents Trent forest and Moses Brown who will be joined their summer league team in Las Vegas at first glance it might not seem like a big deal and that’s because it isn’t rarely does Summer League success translate to success in the regular season and any roster spot opening up for the Lakers in the near future would surely go to whatever top free agent remains of the free agent gency pool at the time with that said although neither Trent Forest nor Moses Brown should be expected to make any type of case for making the Lakers main roster that is in the event there is an opening at the very least it needs to be acknowledge that Moses Brown at only 24 years old makes for extremely Warf fall development project for the South B Lakers to work on on top of being under young side where his game still very malleable Moses Brown literally has all the physical tools needed to be effective backup center in the near future as he stands at a Freer 7 two to go along with a tremendous 7’5 wingspan for the rebuilding Oklahoma City Thunder a few years back Brown was actually their starting center for 32 games where he averaged an impressive 10 points 10 rebounds and one block per game all in just his second season in the league unfortunately shortly afterwards he was dealt as part of a trade package to send Al Horford back to the Celtics then before even playing his first game to Celtics Brown was dealt to Dallas Mavericks who at the time had abundance of centers on the roster already so unfortunately that marked the end to any type of momentum that Moses Brown was able to build upon to be a quality rotational Center the good news is that over the last two seasons Brown has continued to put the work in as he’s racked up career averages of 16 points and 10 rebounds per game down with the g- league given the fact that Laker fans have been deprived of a sizable traditional Center who could slide his feet cover a tremendous amount of ground and alter shots around the basket for seemingly years now with the exception to of course Anthony Davis it wouldn’t be a surprise if Moses Brown quickly grows and die hard Laker fans tuning in in the upcoming Summer League games physically he’s an excellent Prospect for the South Bay Lakers to develop into a productive two-way player but with that said there’s still decent room for improvement before we ever come close to seeing Moses Brown and Anthony Davis share the same front Court notable areas of improvement for Moses Brown would be a lack of offensive awareness being that he has no contributions outside of spoonfed looks from lurking around the basket and cleaning up the glass with Second Chance opportunities defensively like many young centers with his level of experience he’s not very disciplined and leaves him vulnerable as a liability covering the pick and roll and if not he’ll more often than not find himself in foul trouble that’s not that far off from Lakers current backup center Jackson Hayes but the biggest Advantage Brown has over Jackson Hayes is that he’s a much more physically imposing athlete who knows how to utilize his size to dominate The Glass even if Moses Brown were to somehow be thrown to the fire tomorrow he’d probably still end up being a net positive based on his relentless on the glass that he’s shown at every level of basketball so let me know down in the comment section below is Moses Brown worth developing down to South Bay Lakers and would you rather have Moses brown or Jackson Hayes at the backup center position but that’s it for the video take it easy guys in with the left hand now after a slow start shooting from downtown couple of big threes making a seven-point game but right on the other end brown with a followup dunk Simpson Drive flips it back to Brown and he stuffs it home over in the lane put his head down and found Moses Brown for theet can’t can a triple a fast ball down the floor a 90 foot assist for Xavier Simpson goodness and Sean you called it that’s a fast ball that’s not a loft that is a fast ball to Moses Brown returning to the Portland Organization for the first time since 2019 hean Zab Brown grabs it and puts it up and in that’s how you pound the paint if Rip City can get their third consecutive win Burton coming downhill brown boy that looked like a fly swatter on the glass Murray drives lays it up in in for the remix now it’s B to shoot Hain has to get something going to brown brown running into slos in and count the basket he knows how to find the opening really good distributor Ashton haggens we saw this a couple days ago and again suit in the Gap ryono couldn’t get the tough finish aeno steps into a three tipped up into the hands of Hain Ashton looking for brown brown stays with it look out it was a physical take and he got the shot to drop because of it Davis double teamed into the hands of brown Watch Out Below one more time if the Kings continuing to take those types of shots shot attempts the remixer like it my goodness Moses brown brown with the block on good one at to shoot good win team worked very very hard and ended up landing on the remix you know a nod to the rich music scene here in Portland and also just a remix of the in versus the lengthy slaon seven to shoot pass to Brown inside big man going up for the bucket and the foul very similar to Thursday strong first half from Rip City Stockton surging back in the third quarter Moses Brown has something to say about that though Stockton on the other end Goodwin to Stevens Brown sends it away here’s Murray lobbing it for brown good win to Stevens Brown sends it away here’s Murray lobing it for brown throw it down big fella Murray Baseline five to shoot has to put one up Murray left hand lay a brown flying in can’t get that to go keski up ahead to Brown Moses Brown gets the blue started of age out of Serbia started getting professional action at the age of 16 pretty remarkable story Brown now gets in on the dunk party Oklahoma City can rack them up so quickly they’re already at seven triples oh Brown boom Moses Brown we are picking up the pace and when you have a mobile seven-footer like this I mean just roll it around and try and find the best place for him to post up here comes tyer Al oh ambitious oh oh my goodness how did they do that povi to Brown they pulled it out of the hat to the other side where they get a better look and then how about this poesy a little bit too high no look P okashi behind the back a special delivery to Moses Brown [Applause] Brown Moses brown with 14 and N there’s been a total shift in the way this game has been played all tied at 89 brown with the left hand but puts it back and there’s the size
