The Miami Heat Struck Gold With Kel’el Ware…

it seems like year after year the Miami Heat find Talent where others don’t whether it be other teams free agent scraps or through the draft their talent scouts have hit again and again last year they drafted haime hakz with the 18th overall pick and he finished fourth in Rookie of the Year voting they drafted Tyler hero 13th in 2019 and bad deio 14th in 2017 they have no problem finding high-end talent in the teens and it seems like they may have just done it again this year they selected sophomore big man kalle we out of Indiana with the 15th pick it was thought that he could back up bam but maybe play alongside him with bam spending some time at the four as well it seems like we could see that quickly and often as wear may be too good to keep off the floor in just his second summer league game wear finished with 26 points 11 rebounds and three assists dominating the Kings and leading Miami to an easy 16-point Victory he doesn’t look like a rookie out there and almost looks too polished for summer league already he catches lobs fools Defenders with pump fakes and sends shots into the second row with a smooth finesse to his game and a thin lanky frame he almost looks reminiscent of a smaller Victor remama at times Heat fans have to be thrilled with Landing wear when they did as he looks like he could be a foundational piece for the franchise we’ll have to see how he looks in a more competitive setting in Las Vegas but so far so good Kevin Knox has taught all of us not to look too strongly Into Summer League performances and even last year we saw Brandon Miller really struggle but one of the biggest things I’ve Loved is how where’s Play Feels complimentary he understands spacing where he should be at all times and catches lobs well it’s not just High usage performance it’s play that can translate to his role with the heat he shot 40% from Deep at Indiana last season as well which bodess well for him potentially playing alongside bamama bio the Miami Heat did it again with kle wear now let’s take a deeper look before we get into Miami’s promising young big man if you enjoy my content and watch a few videos of mine think about subscribing 96% of my viewers are actually not subscribed so if you watch it before and enjoy the content drop a sub and comment down below it really helps the channel Sunday was a triumphant day for the Miami Heat at the California classic following in the footsteps of previous first round picks Nico yovic and haime hakz Jr kalal we had his breakout moment in a 102 to 86 victory over a lineup of rookies and young free agents from the Sacramento Kings showcasing alyo finishes in an impressive array of post moves the seven footer from Indiana selected with the 15th pick finished with 26 points and 11 rebounds in a polished and Powerful performance where’s Stellar effort helped the heat recover from their 105 to 66 loss to the Golden State Warriors summer league team in Saturday’s opener this game I really wanted to show my offense where said I feel the more I get comfortable it’s going to be way more comfortable than it was today today I was being more aggressive in the paint Heat assistant Dan bachio coaching the heat summer league roster enjoyed watching Kare showcase his offensive skills he did a phenomenal job creating action rolling to the rim sealing basio said he did a great job with his touch around the rim and then again rebounding Isaiah Stevens the undrafted point guard from Colorado State assisted on several of we’s finishes man he makes my job easy makes me look good it’s like I know what I’m doing half the time Steven said with a smile just a freak of nature athletically I never played with a big man like him wear mentioned that once he got past his first game Jitters the game felt different today I definitely started finding that Groove more as the game was going on he said I feel like the more I get used to the environment I feel like it’s just going to get better and better wear made a conscious effort to work in the pain right now my shots feeling a little short so I wanted to get to the basket more he said and be more of a target with my presence balancing the scoring from the perimeter was returning forward Cole Sider who finished at 21 Point shooting five of 10 from Beyond The Ark on the surface you look at it 5 of 10 from three 21 points we love all that stuff bachio said but can you do a lot of the other things he got a couple of deflections today defensively he was pretty solid and that’s something we always want for him to continue to do and then as you’ve been mentioning can you build on that shooting can you be more of a playmaker and he was feeding some guys he had some nice sprays pal Larson the guard from Arizona drafted in the second round at number 44 contributed 9 points six assists and five rebounds Sunday’s starting lineup Beyond swier we and lson included two-way player kashad Johnson the undrafted Ford from Arizona and Stevens who signed an exhibit 10 triy out contract on Saturday Stevens started in place of alandis Williams The Returning guard who played as the Heat’s first reserve on Sunday Stevens Started Hot going four or four from the field and stabilizing the heat with his playmaking finishing with 10 points and seven assists Johnson added 13 points while Williams contributed nine points five assists and four rebounds but in the end it was really we who propelled Miami to Victory and he just looks like another steal for Miami thanks for watching I’m Herm have a good one [Music]

It seems like year after year, the Miami Heat find talent where others don’t. Whether it be other teams free agent scraps or through the draft, their talent scouts have hit again and again. Last year they drafted Jaime Jaquez with the 18th overall pick, and he finished fourth in rookie of the year voting. They drafted Tyler Herro 13th in 2019, and Bam Adebayo 14th in 2017. They have no problem finding high-end talent in the teens. And it seems like they may have just done it again. This year, they selected sophomore big man Kel’el Ware out of Indiana with the 15th pick. It was thought that he could back up Bam, but maybe play alongside him with Bam spending some time at the four as well. It seems like we could see that quickly and often, as Ware may be too good to keep off the floor. In just his second summer league game, Ware finished with 26 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 assists, dominating the Kings and leading Miami to an easy 16-point victory. He doesn’t look like a rookie out there, and almost looks too polished for summer league already. He catches lobs, fools defenders with pump fakes, and sends shots into the second row. With a smooth finesse to his game and a thin, lanky frame he almost looks reminiscent of a smaller Victor Wembanyama at times. Heat fans have to be thrilled with landing Ware when they did, as he looks like he could be a foundational piece. We’ll have to see how he looks in a more competitive setting in Las Vegas, but so far so good. Kevin Knox has taught all of us to not look too strongly into summer league performances, and even last year we saw Brandon Miller really struggle. But one of the biggest things I’ve loved is how Ware’s play feels complimentary. He understands spacing, where he should be at all times, and catches lobs well. It’s not just high usage performance, it’s play that can translate to his role with the Heat. He shot 40% from deep at Indiana last season as well, which bodes well for him potentially playing alongside Bam Adebayo. The Miami Heat Did It Again With Kel’el Ware.

Think about subbing, I’m on the road to 15k!!!

  1. It's crazy how the Heat have been on like 2 finals, 3 ECFs and built a young foundation of Jaime, Jovic, Ware.

  2. I dont think he compares to Wemby at all. Two very different play styles in my opinion. Ware is more bottom heavy too and will have more success in the paint. Ware has Olajuwan potential with a slight possibility of getting good at the deep ball, whereas Wemby is just an absolute alien. No comparisons. Wemby is in a league of his own.

  3. Clicked on this just to comment. Man will never be wemby on his BEST day😂not even wemby lite

  4. Good footwork from what I see , potential to become a X factor , under kevin love wing he can develop more skills , Miami def knows how to build while contending

  5. Good stuff, Herm! I watch a lot of bball vids, but they always focus almost wholly on the West which bugs the shit out of me. Flight Mike, AM Hoops, etc, all put out fine content – but if I have to watch yet another video about Bronny & the Lakers imma prolly puke lol. So I really appreciate your content! <subbed immediately>

Keep up the great work Herm – I'm here for it! ✌️
