Been trying to figure out what Lauri’s camp wants.
I don’t think he’s sold on coming to the Bay tbh, or else the trade would have happened by now. I don’t think he’s opposed to it, but I get the sense his camp isn’t pushing for it.
Or maybe Lauri is using the extend + trade deadline as leverage over Ainge?
Obviously Lauri wants as much money as possible, but they can possibly say trade us “there” or else we wait the extra day, then you can’t trade us til next summer.
Keeping Lauri ruins their tank job, unless he’s gets “injured” again, which he doesn’t seem opposed to doing.
idk the more I think through it, the more I think Lauri is at best ambivalent about coming here.

If Lauri extends, I would pivot to acquiring Kuzma and Sexton. Maybe get Kispert or Kessler in the deal.
That improves our offense considerably as we’d have two guys that can create. Defense takes a hit, but not that much imo. Sexton can be scrappy, and Kuz has played good defense in winning situations.
This lineup screams chaos and fun:
– Steph – Sexton – Kuminga – Kuz – Dray.

Whatever, let’s resurrect Point Wiggins. Let’s get weird.
My starting lineup with the current roster.
– Steph – Wiggins – Kuminga – Dray – TJD
Closing Group:
– Steph – Melton – Buddy – Wiggins – Kuminga

Wiggins will have plenty of chances to prove he’s not washed when Steph retires, why do we need to check it when Steph is still here?
