If Atkinson can get our obvious roster issues smoothed out better than JB did, I think we’re a bit higher.

If we’re still as disjointed as we looked the last few months of the season, I think we’re at least below the Pacers and Kings.

I ain’t buying the Knicks at 3. Congrats on winning FA but when it comes time to put up or shut up, I don’t see it.

  3. Mulai_Ismeal

I can agree with that at least they got us 10

  4. Our spot feels good but the rest of the top half is kind of a mess.

I understand the Nuggets lost in fairly embarrassing fashion for a reigning champion, but they still have the best player in the world by a pretty wide margin.

I don’t think NYK should be in the top 5, let alone the top 3. They are extremely talented but had they made it to the Finals they would’ve lost to any of those top 4 teams in the West.

Pacers at 12 after having one of the greatest offenses in NBA history while adding good depth and resigning key players? Not to mention they’re below the PELS? Give me a fucking break, what have the Pelicans done to show they’re better than an ECF team who is about to play into the prime of their star?

Finally, as it stands right now i’m not sure if I’d say the Warriors are a top 15 team. They have Steph Curry, sure, but this team as is right now is extremely weak in his absence.

  5. Few notes:

The Spurs are going to surprise a lot of people, behind the Hawks is crazy.

Secondly, the Rockets have surprise potential as well so look out for that young core sprouting up.

Thirdly, the Clips are absolutely cooked right now, should’ve kept PG because at least that gives them a small hope of a championship window if they get lucky with injuries, but now that hope is gone and Kawhi ain’t playing 65 games again. I think a play-in is their best case scenario.

Fourth, the Grizzlies are honestly probably fairly ranked if Ja stays healthy, in fact they might be a bit better than that.

Finally, the Pels don’t really have a real center, how the hell are they ranked so high???

Memphis should not be ahead of us, but not too many issues here. That January run last year has me optimistic this offense can do something special. Not sure how, but hopeful.

Why are the grizzlies so high ? Lmfao

  8. Illustrious_Kale_692

Rankings are kinda silly. Tiers are better

  9. Nuggets at #6 is wild

I’m good with #10, if we can stay healthy we’ll exceed that

  10. East_Bed1194

I’d take Indiana and Orlando over us at this point. Memphis should be below us, though.

  11. tiers are better imo. not that much diff between 9-15. memphis offense will be most interesting to me. they hired one of the best offensive minds in the world.

i actually think pistons are a bit low. jb’s wheelhouse after all

I don’t understand the OKC hype. Like they have a ton of talent and are setup for the future but they’re so young. Like am I to expect JDub and Chet are going to win a ring in their second offseason appearance when they’re like 21?

Pretty good list. I’d move the Knicks back a bit, hartenstein is a huge loss for them with Robinsons injury history, but they’re probably still top 5.

Pelicans shouldn’t be that high, the roster they have right now is weird, no center and a lot of overlapping skill sets. Need to see another move or two from them before I’d have them in the top 15.

Move miami behind LA and Phoenix, come on now. They got worse and were the 8 seed in a weaker conference. You could also argue that LA/Phoenix should be even higher but the list is probably factoring in some age related decline and improvements for the younger teams.

The Utah Jazz should be higher than the hornets, give some respect to my guys Lauri and Sexton.

I think we’re appropriately placed, I’d argue we’re ahead of Memphis but it’s close and I’m biased. Memphis has a pretty exciting bench now that they’re gonna be fully healthy and I’m all in on Edey as a regular season beast.

this might be the only respect we’ve gotten all offseason 😂

  15. fightingirishjd8

No complaints. I’d agree we are 9 or 10

Knicks over wolves and Dallas? I don’t know about that. Nuggets at 6th? Yeah it’s a mediocre list imo. Even the Grizzlies could be lower or higher depending on how you feel about them. The only teams that feel right are 7-10 for the most part but even then a lot of these teams have their own issues which makes 10-15 really hard to rank imo.
