    Bro had the all NBA extension on the table and still took a pay cut.  BI turned down a max in hopes of making all NBA and ended up getting neither, complete opposites.

    I’ll just say this here and accept potential downvotes, but *very* few players in the league take dramatically less like this, and the Knicks are a significantly more serious organization than this one.

    Our best player is never available when it matters, our ownership aims to stay cheap no matter what, and our coach has very little clue of what good NBA caliber offense looks like. The situations are incredibly different, and BI taking 40M or less would not at all ensure that we’re a true contender

  4. Ngl that’s a smart/winning move from Brunson. Take less to help the team have cap space to sign better players/pay the good guys on the roster. He wants his boys to have a spot and still stay together as winners

    The pressure on BI to take less 📈📈📈
