seen JV all practice like picking him up having to pick him up full court I think we did like a drill where it was like I was on defense like guarding both of them and it was like it was weird it was like it went on for like 40 minutes I’m just guarding him straight up like the whole proba assume you did some of that towards the end of the year get guard them how how much better did you feel that I feel good about it you would have to you would have to ask them see how much better I got at Gard they probably they probably wouldn’t say a may give a little bit of crit may I hope so hope a little so now that you’re out here what do you think you’re going to be able to do better than last time hopefully everything but you know hope this is always you know shooting better and trying to be more efficient but also like making it harder for off being a better Defender being a better Stu like that remember like last year when you were trying to like drive you would kind of get into your little sback move and then you try to drive and your Rhythm would be off and youd like drive out of bounds by ac they like fall to a trap like what do you feel like you’re doing better now having a sense of Rhythm for how to attack and defense um I think I’ve gotten better at you know slowing the game down um taking it like like changing my Pace I guess you can say um I feel like that’s the most important thing I work with was you know slow stepping a lot or just just slowing down it doesn’t always have to be 100 miles per hour you can go 20 30 times I feel like that’s the focus that I took after summer league to try and apply my game you seen from Baylor and Anton in working with them so far so what have I seen yeah um you know we all know B shoot the ball um and um has really good feel like around the rim which is nice he’s also a good Defender like they’re picking up this defensive schemes like quickly um and applying them even quicker so they’re definitely making their um their print on the game that way Jordan summer league usually gives you L freedom to play the way you want how much you focusing on playing here in a role that you think you can play in Boston versus just accepting I feel like you have to have like a healthy it has to be a healthy medium of um I feel like you know of course when you come here you know I don’t have team I got to have to get the ball too you know so now it’s kind of like all right now I can I can get in my bag a little bit L shot L shot clock um but also there also still like a focus that I still got to show Joe and Brad and that I can play a role that they need me to play next year hopefully help that something you focused on last year in main with was something DJs talk to about for absolutely absolutely it was definitely a focus in name I feel like I kind of took that back seat to to be a 3 and more of a 3 andd guy I feel like that’s what Boston wanted for me I feel like that’s what bra wanted that’s what my teammate needed so that’s what I had to do obviously summer league I was trying to prove myself so I I had a healthy bit of this is a very unique situation obious you get a whole new set of teammates in here I’m curious like any of your quote unquote new teammates what stood out the most who stood out the most just their personality like any fun memories or stories you’ve got from your your new grou team so far um I have I have a couple um but I mean feel like you know jamaah has played really well um he stood out uh you know we’re from from around the same area so I got to play against him see him a lot growing up uh he’s become a way better player than he was back then he was a good player he’s got so much better every I wi this no none of that n of that do you see individual goals just for your own performance in summer leek like if you have to narrow down like you leave here in 10 days like what’s success like to you um I feel like for me obviously winning is always a number one thing uh we want to come here we want to win everything we want to win it all um that’s always on the front of my mind but um I would say another thing is just just being a better player than I was last year showing Improvement like showing that you know I went I pass a year in the NBA now like now I’m a way better player than I was last year
