The Detroit Pistons are hiring Luke Walton as the lead assistant on new head coach JB Bickerstaff’s staff, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Walton spent the last two years as an assistant in Cleveland after five-plus seasons as head coach of Lakers and Kings.

A couple of Cavs legends.
Detroit is making a good move with this staff — they are a bad team and JB is perfect for a non-contender. He will probably be there 3-4 years and have a better record each year until Detroit is ready to contend and then will replace him. That is unless their FO just keeps their roster shitty forever.
