I think he’s just saying that they’re going to be good again

  2. I really don’t understand what you’re trying to say here and how it correlates with the quote in the picture

I took it as they’re going to be tough. Because if he thinks that team is going to be good in March he’s already enjoying that Pure Michigan a little too much.

We beat a good young Orlando team and gave Boston the toughest series they had in the postseason.

The only people calling the Cavs soft last year were people who didn’t watch and just repeated what they were told about the year before.

And JB is like the perfect coach if the Pistons want to go back to being a defensive powerhouse.

The Cavs were most certainly NOT soft in the last playoff run. Injuries did them in.

That game 7 comeback against Orlando was the complete opposite of soft.

I do think he had softish players here. Nice guy kids (Mobley/Garland) and Allen who wouldn’t take a shot to play in biggest series of his career. I don’t think that’s on JB

  7. “Detroit Pistons Basketball” is having your car in neutral but it somehow still managed to stall and die.

Breaking: Guy who just got new job wants to be successful in new job

I personally don’t think it was because of JB at all. Look at the players and their personalities. I hate to call them soft but they ain’t the type to put someone on their ass. Our top 3 defenders are legitimately some of the nicest players in the league lol like we might have the nicest/chillest team ever assembled.

Come March, as in not May or June because we ain’t making the playoffs

I don’t knowhow much softness I see. Skinny is what I would call it. I guess blame JB for not taking Mobley to the buffet more often.

Let’s not pretend like JB’s the reason the Cavs are labeled as soft. It’s Koby’s players who are naturally some extremely sweet guys who work hard but just aren’t tough.

Low Key the bad boy pistons are our team building model

You should be required to offer some credentials if you post this kind of thing. “They’re so soft…” How tough are you? Give some specifics.

Man why do we have do this? Regardless of how this last year went, JB was a positive in the Cavs history books. He helped instill a culture and brought us back to relevancy and the playoffs. Sure we outgrew him but what is he supposed to do about that? Resign from his position? The front office should’ve gotten rid of him earlier and they didn’t. He did his job while he was here and now that he’s gone I wish him nothing but the best. He’s also going into a situation where he can do much of the same he did for us. Not every breakup needs to be bitter.

  16. Cleveland roster is soft. Allen is a bit of a lightweight, Mobley and Garland are finesse guys, Okoro gets officiated out of being physical. Mitchell and Strus are both undersized for their positions, our back up ‘bigs’ are both stretch 4’s…

This is not a group that’s built to bully, and the closest thing to an enforcer the team had last year was TT – who shouldn’t have even been in the rotation on a normal night.

Not sure why people are objecting so strongly to this label.

  17. i wish jb good luck, but i dislike the pistons franchise and fans even more than celtics fans.
