18 points, looked smooth, jumper was as advertised, handle better than advertised, active defensively. I’m so excited.
Sarr looked really good too honestly defensively and had a really smooth lay up on a fast break.

His passing was very strong
I feel he’s the potential to be much more than a 3&D. People were confused because his role at Bourg-en-Bresse was limited to off-the-ball shooting. But he can do more.
I recognize it’s just one game, but his “feel” for the game and poise were evident… particularly as a 19 year old. Risacher knew it was “1 vs 2” draft pick match up, that all NBA die hard fans would either watch the game or certainly read about it today, and he exhibited a lot of poise. That’s awesome.
Love how he lets the game come to him and makes quick decisions to capitalize on space. Good combination of patient, intelligent, and skilled.

My thoughts:
– Played under control, used body well around the hoop & showed great discipline for his age
– He has a quick release but needs to get his feet set. Release is not consistent which was the case with his highlights, so no surprise.
– Long running stride eats up a lot of floor. Does a good job of controlling his pace in the open floor and accelerates quickly, but he shows promising deceleration that is more unique for his frame and position
– Passing vision is solid for a wing his age
– Dribbling is way too high and he will have trouble handling the ball in the half court next year
– Needs to add weight, obviously, but strong lower frame and with added muscle he should unlock another level of explosion
– Plays physical and is not timid
– His ability to play in the full court on both sides of the ball will be a big advantage even for next year
