Brandon Ingram Homecoming In Charlotte??

Brandon Ingram Homecoming In Charlotte??

are the Charlotte Hornets star hunting let me take you to a place where we never can be found on the edge of Carolina where the sun come out ground only the hello everyone it’s everything bu here back again with another video and today we had some news come out that I just needed to talk to talk about real quick right before I head on to work let’s get into it it is about Brandon Ingram this was reported a little bit earlier today let me go ahead and check was reported at 10:45 here on Twitter and it says the Spurs and the Hornets are among the teams showing interest in Brandon Ingram sources have told Hoops wire that the San Antonio Spurs and Charlotte Hornets have emerged as potential Ingram suitors as have the the Atlanta Hawks who will soon officially move guard de jonte Murray to new New Orleans perhaps that trade could be expanded if the Hawks are truly that interested in Ingram now for the Hornets Brandon Ingram is very interesting for us because obviously we’ll probably have to move miles in that deal Brandon ingrams coming into the last year of a 5year $158 million contract this year he is making 36 million in his last year of the contract number one he would have to be willing to resign with the Charlotte Hornets on a Max contract obviously he’s only 27 years old he’s 68 I think he could play the three easily the question mark is can he fit that four spot because that’s the position that we would need um 36 is a lot I get that so as a trade you probably need miles and bons put in the Dallas pick the uh Miami pick and a swap May maybe another first maybe in like the 2026 draft or something like that in a couple seconds I think that could be a deal where New New Orleans is looking at and maybe we can get a get a deal done there but for the Charlotte Hornets it gives us a 20 point per game score it gives us a number one option it gives us a guy who can be there at number two to the number one scoring option option until brand Brandon Miller is ready was send for a playoff team of being the head guy right um so I think that would that would be the move that shows me we’re ready to compete today right now this year right as we continue to develop our our younger players the problem is is it the right time and that’s where I feel like we are because if you look at the team and you say okay if we make a move for Brandon Ingram is our roster good enough to be competitive I feel like we’ve added a little bit more depth this year you know bringing in Grant Williams you know toan Salon provides four four dep that we desperately needed size that we desperately need you know Seth Curry is not on the team anymore but you still have meic as a backup point guard so we’ve we’ve been able to add some pieces to make this team a little bit more ready to compete and I think we make a move for Brandon Ingram obviously he’s from Kinston right down the road for me not really but it’s like 30 45 minutes away from me you know he’s from here so it would be awesome to get him a long-term contract here in North Carolina just something to think on something to think on something that I would really consider it’s time it’s time it’s either this year or next year at some point at some point if we want to compete we’re going to have to do one of these moves you’re going to have to make a pivot like the Indiana Pacers did for SE yakum you’re going to have to make a pivot like the Knicks did for OG and trading away their younger players they’re good young players they’re good but they’re not the pieces that fit on the team that they have built to win right so anyways just a quick little video um please leave a like comment subscribe share the video with a friend give me your thoughts do you think we should make the move for Brandon Ingram and give me your mock trade what do you think would be a package page that would satisfy the Pelicans but would not be too much to give up for a guy like that and does Brandon Ingram fit this team does he fit this roster is he the star that is missing in Charlotte leave me your thoughts Down Below in the comment section I’m everything but City here I’m out peace guys

  1. 2025 draft is a goldmine. Salaun being picked over trading down to select more nba ready players like Knecht/carter etc, think it shows we want to build with youth for the long run. Ingram automatically adds another 5-10 wins and hurts our chances of being in the Flagg sweepstake, so as nice as it would be to have him, I don’t think it fits our timeline. Have a feeling all of our off season moves are already done at this point, Lee will just wanna get to work and advance our young core… but who knows! Excited for the season ahead. Keep up the videos brother 🙏

  2. No picks involved, Bridges and Bertans, and no max extension. And I think it's do able.

  3. PG: Lamelo Ball, Tre Mann, KJ Simpson
    SG: Brandon Miller, Josh Green
    SF: Brandon Ingram
    PF: Grant Williams, Tidjane Salaun
    C: Mark Williams

  4. Thats patching a water leak with Scotch tape. It won't hold up.

Ingram is too laid back. Charlotte need to trade for a guy who is hungry to have a bigger role. If Sengun is truly available, Naz Reid, Laura Markkanen, etc. and I would start Brandon Miller at the 2. Charlotte is two good pieces from the playoffs with a healthy Ball

  5. I actually commented on Brandon Ingram to Charlotte a few months ago, well before the draft lottery, when we were unsure where Charlotte would fall. New Orleans doesn't want to pay him, the man's from Kinston, NC and we have the draft capital to make it happen. But based on the moves we've already made, I don't know Ingram is the guy we want unless you're turning around and trading Miles + future picks (I would have included this year's pick if we were making this move) and he's going to cost substantially more when its not exactly clear if we're a playoff caliber team yet. But I definitely wouldn't be mad with Ingram on the team, just concerned a bit since the path forward has started to look like taking on bad contracts for picks…

Or wait… is that what we would be doing here? I mean, Ingram's an All Star, and there's only so many to go around, but he's going to be making stupid money on his next contract so… would we trade less picks + some actual players we may not see as the future (Micic + Miles? and say 1 future pick + a pick swap to take on Ingram's salary? That sort of makes sense right?

But end of the day, he'd cost more than Miles, they are the same age and I'd say Brandon's only slightly better — he's a little more efficient and better with the ball in his hands, generating a few more assists, but Miles is a better rebounder — so why would we make this move and risk the draft capital and cap implications? Miles to the Clippers for Powell + Mann and picks makes more sense to me, especially if you think Salaun is good enough to play now.

Is there a world in which you can keep Miles and get Brandon? THAT would be interesting. But I don't see it at all.
