just for you first NBA experience uh just kind of what it feel like how’ it feel out there uh it felt great actually just to just to be out there um had my first NBA game it’s nothing like it it’s no other feeling like it but uh I definitely wanted wish I could have got the win but you know it was definitely um good experience for sure uh just for you kind of to get that first kind of finish through contact uh just what is kind of being aggressive and getting downhill mean to you and your game uh really everything honestly I feel like if uh you’re not confident um in yourself in this type of environment could be really hard cuz so many uh great players so yeah I definitely just say that um yeah always have that um aggressive mentality for sure um just when you guys were really going well I think it was the defense I was kind of feeling it just kind of what type of pressure do you feel like you guys can apply when it’s you know you and Maran and you know Andre just kind of all you guys athletic out there yeah I feel like it could um it could be really fun out there with us especially like um our length and stuff like that athleticism together just um especially when we can like play defense like that and get out in transition I feel like we can be really dangerous with the the pieces that we have but yeah what’s the build up been like since draft night getting ready for this first game I’m sure you’ve been excited for while yeah no just to work honestly uh we’ been getting right to practice workouts uh get it back in at night really the same thing honestly just uh trying to stay overprepared you Tom in the NBL last year fever caught smaller caught we know like to get out and transition seems like that transition can be a lot smoother because you’ve had that impact yeah no 100% the spacing is uh definitely a good thing out here uh different than the NBL but uh yeah 100% I did see you sleep one time but your eyes light up going say way that was it was a whis right there I thought at first like when you slip but from water then they stop the play but I didn’t know they don’t stop after that but it makes sense though why you can’t just stop after somebody slips but uh we talking to pet a little bit he had mentioned that you guys are trying to do some switching and I guess for you just what has that been like to have these six days of practice to learn what you guys are trying to do defensively implement it in a game and like try to execute it as Qui as you guys going to yeah know it’s been really good like they’ve been throwing a lot of information on us for sure like just the past two weeks just trying to get ready for this but I feel like my experience in um Australia just playing professional basketball it helped me a lot just to be able to like uh grasp the information and like learn it quick you know so we’re definitely yeah I think we’re switching like one through four one through five sometimes but yeah um just what do you think of Tyler obviously he went through the same situation as you did playing the first game here in the NBA um hit a couple threes just you see no Tyler he always going to do his thing like uh a great shooter for sure that’s why my guy uh playing against him playing with him eighth grade it’s crazy that we on the same team right now but no he he did good tonight today what’s one of the main messages from the coach that they want to see for you throughout the whole summer like honestly just they they keep saying just continue to do me like the same thing I’ve been doing in practice and stuff like that they understand it’s my first game and I’m continue to like get comfortable comfortable as the game goes on but yeah they just yeah last thing on a personal note this time last year you about to set off down to ilara for Australia and then recently you signed your first NBA deal what was that moment like put p uh it’s really don’t feel like it honestly it’s like a lot of Joy excitement uh nervousness all the all the feelings together but um I’m I’m super grateful just to be able to do something like that honestly you better to me congrats appreciate it bill today obviously they they weren’t afraid to put the ball in your hands yeah just what did that mean to you that you know right away from the jump it was going to be kind of your sh yeah no it means everything to me honestly it’s just it feels really good to like be in an organization that believes in you and believes in what you can do and just makes me want to just continue to keep getting better and just be that player or even higher than they want me to be you know like be better than what they thought I could be so
