no you’re good you’re good all right I’ll see you all right second game on your B was even more impressive in the first game and coach said he just look way more comfortable out there is that just kind of what’s Happening you’re letting the game come to you yeah I mean it’s at the end of the day it’s basketball um you know you get to go out and play the game you love with with really good players and teammates and it’s just it’s super fun being able to get out and compete and just play the game you love every day I mean there’s you’re getting a lot of attention on social media try young said you’re nice I don’t know if he saw any other the posts but um how do you build off this yeah I think I think just just keep getting in the gym and and keep doing what you do keep building relationships with your teammates and just stick to stick to yourself you know don’t don’t try and do anything crazyer be someone you’re not just stick to who you are and keep getting in the gym and keep trusting yourself and trusting your teammates and coaches I just want to ask about one play you were so patient waiting for that back door cut from cam in the half court what did you see there and was that a play drawn up or you just saw no it wasn’t drawn up but I mean cam is is an unbelievable athlete so it’s it’s really easy playing with Cam uh anytime he’s near the rim you can just throw it up and he’ll go get it um but no I mean that was more on him for making the read and than I just saw him make the cut so it was it was a really it was a cool play when you’re able to play make and shoot the way you can how do you balance that in the decision making process on the before and figuring out what to do and win yeah I think just just making the right basketball play um you know if I’m the one that is open shoot it if I’m not then attack and and get someone else open and just just trust in my teammates and just making all the right basketball plays you had that play think you drove to the basket kind wait kick it out to AJ in the quarter 3 how is that play the court reading for you is it where you wanted to be are you still learning on the FL things yeah obviously I want to I want to learn as much as I can um and you know that’s when I’m excited about this year uh going to be playing under uh Fred Van Fleet so that’ll be really cool uh being able to have a vet like that take me under his wing and be able to learn as much as I can from him um so I’m super excited for that we seen the chemistry between you and cam over these last two games but how much that is a testament to what you guys have been able to do off the court going each other yeah for sure I mean you know we we’ve never talked until I got to Houston a couple weeks ago but but just I mean cams are really good dude and and he’s really easy to get to know and talk to off the court um and then on the court it’s just that much easier playing with him how fast has this time gone for being you know a high school recruit to coming off the bench in Kentucky and now you’re starting for the rockets in summer it’s crazy um it’s funny like a couple weeks ago it was like it like high school graduation or something my M calls me and was like you graduated this time last year and I was like like it was so crazy like now I’m training to go into the NBA but like one year ago I just graduated high school so it’s it’s crazy how how fast the time has went was it like having a guy like you just throw it up to throw it down uh it’s really really fun and it’s it’s easy I mean you don’t you don’t have to put it anywhere you can just throw it up there anywhere and he’ll go get it so he’s a tremendous athlete favorite oh I mean he had like 10 um I don’t know he I don’t I couldn’t tell you thank you y

  1. It’s not funny is that he came off the bench for Kentucky. He’s looking good as everyone expected. He did a Kentucky but wasn’t played enough.

  2. Looks to me like Reed and Cam need to be shut down for the rest of summer league. Preserve those diamonds!!!😅

  3. What needs to be said about Reed is not just how he plays in game but his mindset and his maturity despite only being a rookie. He has the mindset you would want in a star player. He’s a coaches dream.

  4. Cam probably going to shut down the rest of the summer league but I have no clue what they will do with Reed hopefully he plays the whole way.

He just so fun the watch whenever he operates the offense and he can easily find his teammates and get his own shots.

The threes weren’t there but he made his living on the mid range that’s CP3 like right there.

Reed going to be such a huge addition to our team especially when he gets to play with Sengun Jalen Tari Amen Jabari and the rest of the guys
