loves what he’s seeing from dcoin plowden said he was a great pickup he is a summer league contract G League contract so another team could come get him and sign him to the NBA team he’s been playing really well and he’s one of those players potentially that has earned himself a contract with the main team or another NBA team who does that remind you of potentially Klay Thompson he played once summer league with us yes he was a first round pick but proved his worth do you always see some players who do really well in summer league and move forward and right now that’s plow what did he say he credits his Summer League success to being in the right place at the right time and let’s talk about where did he come from how did he get here so again we won by 17 against Suns it was never close he really helped us out he had 19 points two rebounds two assists one steal one block 67% from in the field and three four from three Warriors win by 17 so what do we know about the Warriors why would we not sign him Reese beakman our undrafted Rie signed a two-way contract he’s worth it from Virginia a two-time ACC Defensive Player of the Year a three-time ACC defensive team made the ACC defensive team and is explosive on offense better than You’ expect Quinton post will reportedly sign and fill one of the other two-way spots so you get three total as much as I like Pat Spencer again he was a two-way player last year with us dcoin plowden seems like a better fit for the last two-way spot his potential is vers his his positional versatility is crazy he’s 66 can play guard play in the Box crazy hops can shoot and I agree with this I think he’d be an amazing player to give this roster based off of what he’s done let’s take a look at his stats so in the G League that’s where he’s been the past two years he’s now 26 average basically nine points a game field goals made was around three or four three-pointers wasn’t as much as he’s making now so he’s feeling more comfortable only really made two thre a game his free throw percentage 81% so nothing here really stands out that makes you say dang this guy’s really good but when you watch him in summer league I’ve watched every game he’s been balling he looks like he’s finding his own as he’s coming into his prime his highlights so he went to Bowling Green he was named Mac all defensive team Mac all third team as well set program record for games played first play in program history the log at least 1,200 career points 800 rebounds 100 blocks fourth in program history rebounds and blocks in MA all third team Mac all second team Mack East player of the week two times so yes Mack is a mid- major conference but this shows that he knows what he’s doing he’s successful and now he’s finally coming into his own and the problem is again if we don’t sign him to a two-way contract and another team probably will come in and get him and I think he deserves it he’s been balling out and keeping the keep a lookout on the name dcoin plin he’s going to be destroying the summer league the rest of the games which are tomorrow Wednesday next Friday and then the playoffs him Brandon tjd Thompson Collins have been looking really good for us really good for us so I like what I’m seeing summer league team and they’re 4-0 now again like I said let’s dive into the game a little bit more we won 90 to 73 we won every quarter besides the fourth but that didn’t matter at that point we’ won we had the lead early in the game Suns took it over then we took it back Midway through the first quarter and we never looked back absolutely destroy them some key stats for you again we held a team to below 35% shooting we did that to the Heat and the Lakers from three they only made 18% most of the game they were below 10% they made four threes in the fourth quarter when it was over tried to make a run but we held them below 10% three quarters we did that against the Heat and the Lakers as well destroying we’re playing an amazing defense what I don’t like if you go down total turnovers 20 it just way too many turnovers we’ve been averaging 15 turnovers every summer league game we average 15 turnovers during the regular season it’s too many turnovers you’re giving a team another 20 extra possessions a good NBA team is going to kill you we don’t have KD clay play Steph all in the prime where you can just outshoot a team with so many turnovers you got to play the ball play with the ball smarter rebounding I love that what we had there 46 rebounds and overall this played a very good team a very good game our offense is fluid look at our shooting again 31% from three was higher most of the game 44% from the field and shooting the ball um we’re taking the right shots not just stupid shots if you look at our team everybody was basically in the plus besides Whit who came in towards the end of the game great to see a couple of names tjd seven rebounds 10 points two assist and he looked very active in the paint getting up and down the court a couple fast break points Brandon psky 16 points six assists two steals looked very good was shooting the ball well from three again I said plowed in high scorer in the game 19 points row had 14 starting across the board Collins with five assists looked very good coming off the bench we had some great players Knox made a contribution multiple contri contributions with nine points Thompson looked good so love what the team is doing and look what we did to the suns suns highest score was 19 and then than that Ry with 12 everybody else was in the minus we held this team to really not performing well they were missing their shots again they only went 18% from 3 33% from the field goals so we did a great job in this game I cannot complain it was looked it was fun to watch and we had fun in the watch party we’re now 1 and0 in the Vegas summer league as you can see right here with other teams and the the points scored points against Point
