Jordan apologized to Pippen for including the controversial moment in The Last Dance

the Last Dance documentary amass praise and critique alike highlighting a few controversies and creating new ones none more impactful than the strain it put on the relationship between Michael Jordan and Scotty Pippen Pippen didn’t like his portrayal in the docu series especially minding the inclusion of his decision to sit out the last play of game three of the 94 playoff series against the New York Knicks when coach Jackson decided to have Tony kukuch take the final shot with 1.8 seconds left in the game Game the show highlighted how although Tony made the shot pip was not happy about it and the former bull confronted Jordan on the matter I asked why he had allowed the 1.8 seconds game to make the final cut Pippen wrote in his Memoir he didn’t say much other than to apologize and acknowledge that if it were him he too would be upset I didn’t press any further I knew it would do no good but ever since the Duo’s relationship is not what it once was

  1. To be honest it shouldn't have even been in the documentary because is had nothing to do with the 97-98 season…..nor was he even on the team when this happened in 93-94…..

  2. This was a marketing documentary. Bron won another Chip and too many folks were saying he was the GOAT. I personally am glad I was able to see both. The actual game is the focus.

  3. I knew EVERYTHING negative said about Pippen already because I lived that Bulls team
Thing is I respect Scottie way more after the last dance so I see his point kind of but imo he wrong

  4. The Last Dance didnā€™t do jack to Jordan and Pipā€™s relationship. Scottie being butthurt about being a cuck and not being able to handle it internally and directly did. Itā€™s not Mikeā€™s fault Scottie canā€™t keep his woman & Jordanā€™s son swiped her.

  5. If he did indeed apologize to him you gotta consider that Michael Jordan nor anybody else for that matter has ever complained so vehemently about a shot that one of his teammates took and made it, to the point where he even called his coach a racist, thirty years after the that game and then he apologized to Phil Jackson in his memoir!

  6. Iā€™m tired of hearing about these three. Why TF wasnā€™t Buechler flipping out that the shot didnā€™t go to him!!??

  7. Seeing how Pip reacted, in real time, many of us lost some respect for him. Even as a 12 year old I knew that was unsportsmanlike.

  8. Pippen was being weak back in 93, and hes being weak now. lmao. If you didnt want the documentary to show you choosing to sit out a playoff game w/ 1.8 bc the playcall wasnt for you, then you shouldve sucked it up and went inbounded the ball like phil asked you to. Cant be mad at MJ for shit you did. There were things in the doc that didnt make MJ look the greatest either.
