The Nets also are not reliant on the Knicks sucking for their rebuild. They actually did a great job by trading for their own first round picks back right after so now they can tank for talent AND have the Knicks draft picks as assets.
And the Knicks probably will be really good, but they’ll probably also have a down year mixed in. I mean we’ve seen it plenty with the warriors, the Mavs, the heat, ect teams that are very talented but injuries and weird circumstances lead them to the lottery.
