Best Contracts this Offseason

Very interesting post on the 3 best deals handed out this offseason. I wouldn't have DeRozan at 3, but I 100% agree with the Top 2 of Derrick White and Jalen Brunson.

With the going rate for 3-and-D wings skyrocketing, White could have made much much more than the 4-year $118 million deal he signed.

Brunson took one of the biggest pay cuts a superstar has ever taken, and the analytical numbers only serve to increase the absurdity.

A win in the NBA costs $3.4 million this season. According to Dunks & Threes' EPM metric, Brunson had an estimated win count of 16.6. That means he was worth $56.4 million last season. As the Knicks get better (win total will rise), his contract is an insane steal that we usually don't see with marquee players.

What would your list look like?

Is Derrick White really a wing though? And yes he could have been paid more but paying some one like that even more is even wild to think about but its the new NBA.

Ngl that Derozan contract is underrated, hes still a scoring machine and his playmaking has vastly improved since his Toronto days.

My hot take is he’s a much better player than Pg going into 2024-25

I was hoping we’d pick him up if we Struck out on Mikal
