With the Holmes injury I was hoping that Booth would not finalize the deal with DJ (put him on the coaching staff for the same $) and use that spot to find some better frontcourt depth. Booth’s comments during the game did not suggest he is even considering this option.

“They can be beat by a hot shooting night.” Anyone can be beat by a hot shooting night from any team if it’s hot enough. If I have a god ordained hot shooting night and I just started draining full court threes I would’ve beat the prime bulls and warriors combined by myself.
“One injury to a star player from catastrophe.” There is no team that is good that isn’t one injury to a star player from being worse. Thats why they’re fucking star players.
