The only Grizzlies news from his new article. Doesn't expand on the info. Not really surprising, but wonder who they'd bring back or use the open roster spot for if they can move him.

  1. At this point I would take a bag of basketballs for Z. Time to move on and free up that roster spot

  2. If we’re not attaching a 2nd pick to dump his salary because some other team actually view him as a positive asset, idk what Zach is waiting for.

We can package him and Rose and maybe get some BBQ nachos in return

We may be able to get a half eaten burger and some 500 LB dude in return but not much else

Realistically, what would our return for him be? I really can’t see a team giving up more than a heavily-protected 1st or 2nd. If we’re this excited to get rid of him, I doubt other teams are going to give up any real assets

stupid to trade him at his lowest value ever, imo.

might as well let him try and recoup something unless we have plans for the money we open up

Well duh they’ve been discussing for weeks, no one wants him lol….we will have to pay with picks to move off of him.

  8. All the love for Z. Hope he has a wonderful career, but his time with the team was already over.

That year 4 cap hit in the contract not looking so good.

JJJ’s last contract was a work of art by the FO being more front end loaded

Would rather offer Zaire + cash instead of draft pics.

Cmon Pera – come off some of that $2.1 Billion and help the grizz out

I mean it is more about a roster spot and cap impact at this stage, why not wait till the trade deadline just in case.

I actually believed he worked really hard the past summer, just bad luck with injuries.

I am not a Z truer by any means, but I don’t see the point of offloading him at his lowest value either.
