Charlotte Hornets Sign TaJ Gibson Fantasy Basketball / NBA News
Charlotte horn had signed veteran Taj Gibson to a one-year $3.3 million deal for the veteran minimum so last season between the New York Knicks and the the Droid Pistons Gibson was more of a mentor and someone as a locker room leader to give advice to young players the season 1.7 points a game 1.9 rebounds and 40% from the field he’s going to be in the same type of role with this Hornet team I imagine this season is T Gibson so in terms of fantasy basketball he’s not going to have any fantasy value he’s well traveled V now in his late 30s is Gibson where he’s played a lot of basketball and it wouldn’t be surprising to me down the line if he’s part of a coaching staff in a year or two but right now to get the veteran minimum and at least one more year to be in the league it’s definitely a plus for Gibson and like I said his locker room and mentorship is a good key and it’s not always about on the court stuff cuz we know this Hornet team they got a lot of young players on this team obviously you got lamelo bu you got Brandon Miller got miles Bridges who resigned the deal so Gibson can help some of these young players on this roster and that’s why this Hornet team brought him insh Gibson signs with the charot Hornets and we’ll see if he could help some of these guys grow and be even more knowledgeable of the NBA lifestyle and help this Hornet team in that Mentor role entering the 2024 25 season
