  1. Glad we came out on top despite injuries. I got my eyes on Jamal Shead, this dude is giving me Kyle/Fred vibes. Gotta love the defensive effort.

  2. Our prospects looking pretty good so far in SL. Hope one or two (other than Dick) can make a splash with the big club this year.

  3. Good work from the rest of the squad to step up with Gradey and Mogbo getting injured. Prayers up for them two and hopefully they're back healthy soon

  4. The new guys are good at shooting but if they train at the OVO facility long enough they will all forget how to shoot. I don't know what it is about that gym but for the last 3 season any player that has joined that gym struggled shooting. could it the be the Shooting Coach? could it be the Digital display? could it be the plays that turn into contested shots? I don't know but any player that has left the Raptors starting shooting well, anyone who joined the Raptors known to be a shooting had forgotten how to shoot. It's a phenome.

  5. Raptors serious about winning summer league this year, good for the rooks to develop a winning culture.

  6. GD shot (2-9 fg / 0-5 3fg) vs Denver before twisting his ankle right before halftime. JFL (5-10 fg / 3-6 3fg) even bounced back from a bad shooting night in game one. I mean all the rookies were making 3fgs against Denver like Shead (2-2), Walter (2-6), Battle (3-5), Chomche (1-1), Carlson (1-4) – but GD can't make one? He's more hype as a shooter than being a natural shooter. He's a very streaky shooter. The Raps were losing with GD on the court but they won when GD had to miss the 2nd half due to injury. The Raps are once again wasting a roster spot on Garrett Temple, a guard when the Raps are loaded at guard, instead of potentially having Braden Carlson on a standard contract and signing a player like Jamison Battle to a two way contract.

  7. Why is Garrett Temple on the roster? The Toronto Raptors current roster:

    CP: Poeltl/Olynyk

    PF: Barnes/Boucher/Mogbo

    SF: Vezenkov/Dick/Ogbaji

    SG: Barrett/Brown/Freeman-Liberty/Walter/Temple

    PG: Quickley/Mitchell/Shead

    Two Way Contracts:

    G DJ Carton

    C Branden Carlson

    C Ulrich Chomche

    Exhibition 10 Contracts:

    F Quincy Guerrier

    Free Agents:

    G Gary Trent Jr (UFA)

    F Jordan Nwora (UFA)

    C Malik Williams (UFA)

  8. Cartoon playing very well so far a great shoot creator and pass great shead and carson played great and ja kobe found his touch more in second game of summer league
