I’m bored this morning and it’s already way too hot so it’s conspiracy time. I feel like USA basketball made some promise to Embiid that he would be the starter in order to get him to commit. Yea I may be biased, but even other fanbase agree. Literally makes no sense to have Embiid as the starter.

Pretty sure they promised Embiid a starting spot. I don’t know if Embiid would mind getting less total minutes though, so I think a compromise like that is fair.
