Its absolutely crazy how fast the fell off of Westbrook. He was averaging 27/8/7 for the rockets and 22/11/11 for wizards, the season after.
His athleticism didn’t necessarily fell off in his 1st year with the lakers. Its just the fit is horrendously bad.
The way basketball fans viewed him after his lakers stint was a complete 180 compared before. I think he is mentally tough but that shit definitely affected him specially when he was talking about his daughter openning up being affected by the “westbrick” name.
Some mf really shouted those with towards his family and people said that’s okay because westbrook could have shoot better to stop those.

The only way Russ was EVER going to work with the lakers was if LeBron truly committed to playing more and almost exclusively off ball.

I know we talk about LeGM making the trade but it makes no sense to that AD and Lebron would want him after this series even with his year in Washington. Feels like the organization wanted someone for the regular season for Lebron but I doubt Lebron thought it would improve the team
