AD should be higher because he will cry about it and the media will be on his side because it’s the Lakers.

I mean we could have the same narrative about team defensive rating as last year…

But given Gobert has his 4th now (the most ever, shared record), and he’s not the most liked players in this league, voters’fatigue could go Wemby’s way.

Especially since he was the underdog/people’s favorite last year and is likely to be better and have a way better defense around him with CP and Castle in the rotation on the POA.

The narrative should go his way this time, if he plays the 65 required games.

Vic will likely retire with the most DPOYs in history if he remains healthy so I’m not worried anyway.

A bit sour he didn’t win it last year especially after gobert’s performance in the finals, but yeah this season he’s got it in lock.

Makes sense, he was the Player’s DPOY last season, and should’ve won the award then.

Heat/Lakers having a great season (top 3 seed) and a great defence (top 3 defence) can swing the award to Bam/AD. Bucks having a great defence after moving away from Brook Lopez and having Dame can get Giannis his second. Think those 3 should have 10% chance. Wemby at 40% chance. Gobert getting his 5th one at 5%. Chet at 10% chance. JJJ at 10% chance. Mobley at 5%.
