for those 2 years in utah didn’t they shut him down?

Absolutely. Thats why Ainge is smoking fucking crack asking for hella picks, JK, Moody and Podz.

It has been talked about. I think people who want him just think that the pros outweigh the cons, especially since we do have a really good medical staff. He’s been rested a lot the past couple of years due to tank too. At the end of the day, unless you’re trading for a top 10 players, there’s always going to be positives and negatives to a trade.

Its been confirmed by Utah Jazz reporters that The Jazz essentially shut down Lauri the last 2 seasons to tank for better draft slots. Had the Jazz been in contention for a playoff spot, Lauri would have definitely played

Definitely yes. That’s why I don’t really care if they get him or not

I’m more concerned with his lack of off ball defense. The games played is less of a concern because the Jazz have essentially sat him for 2 years

I think the thing to consider is that there are really no alternatives. Lavine is more injury prone and more expensive (though we would not need to trade half as much to get him). Who else (that could be considered anything close to a #2 scorer) is there? Ayton? Evan Mobley?

This whole Lauri thing is Kevin love all over again. We aren’t gonna get him and podz and Kuminga will end up being the future
