first thing I have was when you look at just improvement from the last game what things are you looking to clean up and looking to be better at tomorrow just all around I think we can play harder play play more connected be better defensively share the ball a little bit more so I those are the main areas when I look at your push shot I was just talking to somebody from your walking they they seen you play in college and they were like we’ll shoot that from 14 15 feet now I’m curious when did you start to developing that shot and then when did the range in it become yeah when I was younger I played like pickup at the wreck and stuff and the older guys would be blocking my shot so I try to get to a little floater and I just kind of kept working on it and then at Marquette I spent a lot of lot of time on it so some a shot that I trust shoot at a high level obviously I didn’t shoot at high level last game but it’s a shot that I like to shoot when you get when when did it you out like your second year at more when you started shooting it further back or when did it really click that you can shoot it that far out yeah coach Barry and marqu we’d extend it super far even farther than I’d ever shoot in a game just to be comfortable with it and then against drop coverages and blitzes Tyler would hit me in the pocket and then I would just shoot that and read the defense so I just I got comfortable cuz it’s an automatic shot against the drop so when it comes to that pick and roll chemistry you had really good Synergy with Tyler you had a couple years to develop that what kind of goes into a process of developing that chemistry with a ball handmer they just having high IQ people on the floor Tyler super high IQ I’m high IQ and we can read pick and roll coverages really well so we would know that going into the game what kind of coverage we’re going against and adjust and just read that so I think just that connection honestly with basketball at when you look at the other bigs on the roster with nerk and Mason plumbley those are two guys that are also really skilled passers in those situations how much you think that can benefit being able to learn from and pick up things from those yeah a lot I watched a lot of Plum’s film uh Shak would Happ me watch this film a lot at Marquette so little they’re both very smart players and they do a lot of different things as well so I’m going to try to learn as much as I can ask them a bunch of questions that’s this whole process I’ve just been asking a ton of questions we have so many guys who have spent so many time so much time in the league so I’m just excited to learn get better it’s your point about shakka I read somewhere that he was hitting up David Adelman with the Nuggets to learn things about how they did five out actions with ner so they could Implement that for you was that something he ever discussed with you or told you hey watch this guy’s film or this guy’s film or anything yeah I think I’ve watched every big that can dribble in the league I’ve watched all their films and just to have coaches like that that push that and encourage me to learn and be better has been amazing you look at your connector part of your game put the dribble hand off moving the ball how important do you think that would be for you in terms of getting opportunities to play once the season start I think it’s huge I think that’s something that I do really well and I think that that’s something that this team could use so I mean any role the coaches give me I’m going to try to go out there and do my best at it but that’s something that I feel like I can do at a high level
