NBA Trade Rumor: Lauri Markkanen Warriors trade details revealed!
we now have the details of the Lowry Markin and trade talks between the Utah Jazz and the Golden State Warriors in his most recent article sham chirania says the Golden State Warriors have been the most engaged team for marinin in recent weeks as League sources tell the athletic they have discussed a proposal around Moses Moody multiple first round picks multiple pick swaps and multiple second round picks the Jazz however have asked for the bulk of young talent and capital the Warriors possess including Moody Jonathan kaminga and Brandon psky along with pick which has been a non-starter thus far for Golden State League sources said what this looks like is basically we’ve seen the offer from the Warriors and the counter offer from the Jazz the question is can the Jazz and warriors find a middle ground what I have picked up is the Warriors and Jazz they have continued conversations just the Jazz are in a position right now and they wouldn’t be even thinking about moving L Larry Markin in if this was a team that is trying like Ryan knows if you’re trying to compete and win that’s a guy you compete and win with this is a team that obviously is going down more of a rebuilding path and is if you’re going to rebuild and you’re trying to compete for not a playoff bre but probably the number one overall pick you have to consider I don’t think they want to move Larry Markin but if the Golden State Warriors put into Brandon psky and you know from what I’m told three first round picks three four unprotected pick swaps you know three four second round pick name uh kaminga is a name but I think I think the Jaz from everything I’ve been told the Jazz are more focused on Brandon psky and his inclusion in the deal all the picks being in the deal and I think from the Warriors perspective it’s psky but then there’s not the all all the picks and if it’s all the picks then there’s not going to be a psky and so this could be a back and forth but both sides are kind of entrenched right now at where they’re at saying nothing is going to change so only time will tell but I think the Jazz are very comfortable with extending Li markting and at that point you’ll see more suitors potentially as well in him not just teams that feel like okay we’ll be able to resign him so that’s the tra if the Warriors want Lowry marinin they have to give psky three first round picks and three to four pick swaps the question is are they willing to do it the clock is ticking the Jazz will likely renegotiate marinin on August 6th so if the Warriors want him they can get him but that’s the cost let me know in the comments is that the right price if you’re a Warriors fan are you willing to do that let me know like And subscribe to the channel guys I’ll talk to you next time
The Golden State Warriors and the Utah Jazz continue trade talks around Lauri Markkanen and another trade rumor was revealed showing what the Warriors are offering and the counter offers from the Jazz. But it seems like Danny Ainge has made it clear that the Warriors bring Lauri Markkanen over to pair with Steph Curry if they offer this deal from the Utah Jazz.

Warriors trying to give up scraps for Prime Rib
at this point just get Ingram
I would rather trade for houston or spurs warriors offer a joke
If I was the Warriors that seems way too steep! Steph might be done soon and those picks could be high.
Pod, some picks but not all and Moody an off load Kavon too. I would make that offer.
We'll get better offers later, during the season..
Not worth it
No
worth it if im the warriors because you still have a tradable piece in kuminga.
Not worth it.
Kuminga, podiemski and multiple 1st round picks and multiple 1st round picks swap for lauri.
The more I looked into what picks we would get back from GS the more I didn’t like the trade they can’t trade their valuable picks 2029-2031 because they traded their 2030 to the Wizards so they can only trade 2 unprotected picks between 2025-2028 and if they keep all their young player and then add lauri all of those picks will be in the 20’s also the jazz don’t need any more pick swaps so any pick swaps they get will conflict with Cleveland or minn pick swaps. Unless we get two young players minimum I don’t think it’s worth it for the jazz could get better picks from other teams if that’s what they want.
Jazz is sending Cristiano Ronaldo to Warriors. To have CR9, Warriors will send their young core: Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga, Kylian Mbappé and Vinicius Jr, also the option to chose anytime on next 3 years to request Endrick and Arda Guler, one of them and 100kk Euros or 200kk Euros.
Warriors spend time and money to develop him at the point where he can be a starter, also with a contract that almost harmless to the cap. Jazz didn't spent nothing on Markkanem, as they bring him developed, also, he hadn't improve his game, keeping the same (very good) quality that he had after his 2nd season at Chicago. Probably someone will say that I'm crazy because his ppg raise 10 points per game after his first game on Jazz. But in Chicago and Cleveland too, the score where spread between way more players, where in Utah he was by far the main scorer, probably rebounds leader and maybe top 3 in assists not because he improved, but because he was overloaded. Playing on Warriors, its just so much dellusional think he will even keep half of his Jazz numbers. And Kuminga still have space to improve.
So, I think that trade Kuminga for Markkanem value for Warriors only will be fair in 1 by 1 deal: Kuminga for Markkanem and period. No more players, no picks.
Otherwise, taking in mind that Lacob have as goal back to the cap and don't play luxury taxes, taking in mind that the cut we did after KT and CP3 departure, was throw away with Hield, Melton and Anderson, any trade for any player (not only Markkanem) only make sense with Wiggins on package.
Trade Pod it's just surreal scenario for me, as we CAN'T open hand of ANY MAIN ROTATION GUARD to bring one more Forward, and probably see him play 12 minutes, because Kerr will bring two Lester Quinones from Santa Cruz to play his small ball with no pick and roll strategy, that is running since Kevin Durant departure, where the only stat that we are rank #1 is TO.
Is also dellusion thing we will be contenders bringing Markkanem and losing all those guys. And Markkanem will make Kerr cut off TJD minutes into a spot where he should play more minutes, not less, mainly because he is exactly the guy we need doing screens and pick and rolling, with the blocks and rebounds stats way more high than Bogut ones (Bogut our last main screener/pick and roller). And TJD on his rookie year, already show us that he is way better than Bogut doing this.
Curry, Pod, Green, Kuminga and TJD its basically a perfect start 5, even with Hield on roster. More, a full drafted start 5. We had four titles with drafted players. Remember that 73-9 and unanimous MVP team, was the one with Harrison Barnes on start 5, not the one with Durant.
Of course, none them will be the next Curry or even the next KT. No one will be. But they can be what they are. And what they will be can put them on All Star game, that is the what lots of HoF or future HoF have or will have as their main career highlight. 30 teams… Only one will be champion into a spot where ramdomness facts (Like KT and KD injuries during NBA Finals against Toronto).
I have more happiness seeing Curry play well (with the fckn screens and rolls to dont let the decision to double over him be the easy decision) and the rookies playing and developing, than be a champion with Curry, Green playing together an army of mercenaries we bought to play this season. TJD, with one season, already had Giannis and Wemby calling him Daddy.
Lauri + Sexton for Moody, Podz , 3 1st rd picks, 2 swaps are reasonable for both teams
Its Danny Ainge considering what he got for Gobert and Mitchell they aint trading Markannen for peanuts.
Lauri is the man but with curry already old to gut ya future not a good look if I was golden state I would trade green n curry try to get cooper flag let’s b real even with Lauri who is gsw beating
5 picks
