This is undeniably true. The list of 7 footers with his power, athleticism, shooting touch, and coordination is incredibly short.

  2. Don’t give a shit what any hot take troll says ever

  3. Obligatory Steven A is a massive a-hole post. I agree with him here but it still needs to be said.

Embiid has the best plus/minus of any player so far and the two posts in r/nba is him getting clamped by Dwight Powell and a post praising Tatum for an assist where Embiid scored. The game thread is all people wanted to bench embiid when he’s the only player who gets doubled anytime he touches the ball.

  5. Dude has the perfect skill set for a center in any era. There arent many players who can lead the league in scoring and also be a defensive player of the year level player. Embiid does both at 7 feet tall. One lf the best post players, has one of the best mid range face up games in the league, elite in most defensive metrics.

He’s one of the greatest players I’ve ever watched.

(I was gonna say “period”, for emphasis, but kinda weird typing that out, when we have punctuation on the keyboard)

Toughest era of basketball with all the injuries / games played. If he played 30++ years ago he’d literally be seen as the goat, like Wilt.

If he had knees he would be clear cut bitw

Untimely injuries and poor management & roster construction decisions have held Jojo back from deeper playoff runs more than anything. Not to say he hasn’t underperformed in critical moments or can’t work to improve his conditioning. But context is important. And he’s generally done enough individually to bring the team just close enough, he’s needed that extra push from his team but has been let down time and time again. You won’t see his haters acknowledge his injuries and Tobiass though.

Must be worth a ton in trade assets if no championship this season isn’t time to leverage Mr Embiid for the future?
