Grizzlies fans I’m here with Scotty Pippen Jr after the 10888 game over the Dallas Mavericks Scotty this group has talked so much about the emphasis of Defense especially here in Vegas you allowed just 11 points in that first quarter how did this defense spark the hot start I would say this coaches keep telling us to pick up full court um we’ve been doing it all summer all training camp so just making sure we’re condition to play the whole game picking up full coordinates let that LE our offense you had 19 points on offense today you also had seven assists and five steals how have you been able to make such an impact I would say it’s my defense letting that lead to my offense I feel like I have more than five steals but that’s what it was it felt like you had to steal every other possession so I’m going to give that to you but unfortunately we have to go with the box score uh 16 steals as a team five from you so they say uh what is it about how much you trust your teammates behind you that allows you to you know make the risk like go for the steal every time are you feeling chemistry with this team yeah I think we have chemistry I think it’s a group of four of us that played a little bit last year together so this transitioning to this summer we’ve been playing with each other we all trust each other and we all got each other’s back on the defensive end okay so on in addition to just four of you let’s talk about the team in general for this last question what’s clicking about this team this is two 20-point games in a row what is it that’s just somehow coming together after Salt Lake I think just the energy we’re having a lot of fun playing with one another we’re sharing the ball and I think that just contagious you know you see it on the bench people clapping people yelling I think just having fun playing out there well it’s fun to watch too make sure you’re tuned in to grind City media the next game is coming up soon just Jessica Benson will be here for you so make sure you are locked in we’ll see you then
