That was tough to watch. Single digit scoring for everybody except JFL.
Any update on Gradey and Mogbo’s injury. I know they didn’t play today
Overall not impressive Summer League.
Chomche showed some nice flashes on offence again. Happy we have him
Liked what I saw from Carlson once again. Shead was good defensively but we really saw his limitations on his ball handling this game. JFL does what he does. Everyone else was kinda some flavour of bad to unplayable. JaKobe looks kinda lost when his shots aren’t falling.
Shead guarded a 1 v 2 and they still didn’t manage to score, and Bazley’s failed double dunks is honestly why I watch summer league games. Always a chance someone forgets how to play basketball in certain possessions.
Need Walter to go through the Gradey Dick mid season training regimen the rest of this summer bad. Hes 2/18 from deep across the few games we’re seeing him play so far.
For Ja’kobe his biggest weakness this summer league has been his handle. He keeps trying to create off the dribble and just cant get to his spots, and since summer league is basically glorified pickup they’re not gonna run offball action so he can get his normal type of shot diet.
Shead showed his biggest obstacle in becoming an nba guy with his offense, just couldn’t create good looks at any level of the floor.
Chomche shows improvement from each game, despite some bad mistakes on certain possessions you can see the upside.
I am so fucking excited for Chomche. He needs to learn receiving fast/pocket passes, but his rebounding is already looking pretty good and he’s continuing to show flashes. Development in the G-League for him will do wonders.
When JFL is the teams leading scorer we will always lose . The guy is a black hole that kills ball movement
Agbaji is a bit of a depressing case. He should be wrecking summer league as a 3rd year former lottery pick. Sigh.
The only Summer League game I’ve been able to watch in its entirety so far this year and fate handed me the wrong one
