Damn it’s been a long time since the heatles era. Miamis arena used to be amazing in the playoffs during that era.

Didn’t you hear, Miami is the only major American city with traffic issues

Well it should be underwater by the end of the century, so maybe that’s a good thing

Damn. So since Lebron left and dwade retired, the average Heat game is like a dying mall?

I remember a story about Gary Payton (the first) playing in an Atlanta arena that was basically empty. While he was shooting free throws it was very quiet and a fan somewhere shouted out “HEY GARY!!!”
Then he paused in his free throw shooting and shouted back, “WHAT!?!?”

No lie, last year’s buck series was the loudest I’ve ever heard any arena lol. Was absolutely insane. And I’ve been to a lot of games.

Was in Miami for work and went to a game against the Cavs. Got my ticket for $8 and never had to wait in line for beers. 10/10 would go again.

good to see road trippin again, were they on a hiatus?

Doesn’t Miami have a subway stop like 4 minutes walk from the stadium? If everyone’s so worried about traffic why don’t you just get the train at one of the farther out stops and park there? Thats what I used to do when I lived in Atlanta for games even though Marta is ass
Edit: Google maps says that’s a 12 minute walk to the stadium and that there is a light rail stop even closer. Seems pretty good.
BongWater_Sommelier
I have been to dozens of Heat games and manage to get there 30 min before tip off every time. Miami people just think they’re too cool. Too cool to cheer, too cool to show up on time, it’s a very lame aspect of our culture.

Is Miami a sports city? Between the Heat, Marlins and Panthers, it seems like they all struggle to fill seats.
