Steph Curry Makes #14 on ESPN List of Top Athletes of 21st Century.

These lists are obviously rage bait with unclear criteria, but it's the off-season.

I mean of ALL sports that’s pretty damn high praise

I guess I don’t value Olympic athletes nearly as highly as athletes doing it every year, but that aside, he seems appropriately placed considering the other athletes are in the actual goat for their sport or in the conversation. Kobe is the only one I’d have gripe with, but even then I think his cultural impact is higher.
Actually, my biggest issue is that Messi isn’t number one.

No Joey Chestnut?! I mean if we’re considering all “sports”…

This is a ridiculous list and needs to be renamed “top 100 athletes Americans have heard of”

    Also, Curry clearly over Kobe.

  5. Who’s left that’s gonna be higher? Phelps, Brady, Williams, Woods, LeBron? I haven’t looked at the list so far just assuming those names are probably higher.

I don’t know how lebron is above Tom Brady though. That’s wild!

Kevin Garnett being on this list is bizarre. Love the guy, but he’s not someone who comes to mind when I think of a list of top athletes

  8. With the way the list is going wouldn’t be surprised if they list some esports player in there. (I quit after 20)
