One thing I really like about his game is his instinctive ability to create space, and to recognize space. He doesn’t seem to really think about his next move, his step-back looks fluid and natural, and he’s clearly put in the reps. There’s not many guards in the NBA who can do this, but the ones who can tend to be quite good. In the video, we see him create really nice space with the snatchback around 1:10, recognizes he got a really strong screen, and then STEPS BACK AGAIN and nails the wide open three. This is not college level shit, he almost looked like a 2K character in that sequence.
Also, on one play you see has a 1 on 1 in transition after a nice steal. If this were RJ Barrett or really any other player in the NBA, you assume he’s going to just attack the rim and maybe hope to draw a foul. Instead, Rokas recognizes this is what the defender anticipates is going to happen, recognizes the space, and pulls up for an effortless middy. This is beyond NBA rookie level stuff. Then he does it again later in the video, a middy in transition, effortless.
He’s playing at a pace that you don’t expect from an NBA rookie and it’s clear his development at Barcelona has him ready for the NBA. I actually think he’s going to be quite good.

Should’ve got to finish the game. I know they’re doing Washington a favor but Jesus Christ that dude ain’t never turned down a shot.

He can play. I’d really like to see him make the team but I don’t think it’s going to happen. Not this season anyway. We have Kolek and he’s already on a long term guaranteed contract. Also our greatest deficiency is at the C spot. The last two roster spots should go to players that can help there.

He seems seasoned and won a championship with Barcelona. I see flashes of Luca in his game. Perhaps a “Baby Luca”

Coming into summer league I saw him more as a pg but now I see more of an off-ball guard like dvo. I think he could sneak onto the roster
