so Adidas… a German company has say on the USA basketball team roster. JB the man for winning us the chip, but c’mon..

    “Ex-NBA Star”

Ooh spicy I wonder who it is?!?

    Lol

Ex NBA player who didn’t get a rookie extension as a lottery pick

Sounds like McCants going to bat for Jaylen. I approve.

*Gilbert Arenas* – he’s the go to for all things NBA. 🙄

  6. I don’t buy the sneaker thing. You can convince me of either of these:

1 – They didn’t invite him, because he’s a bad fit who is redundant with the other guys they already have on the team. Team USA learned that lesson in the Paul Pierce years that you can’t just fill the squad with best player available, you need to actually construct a team of talent that compliments each other.

2 – They didn’t invite him, because he’s low key Kyrie-lite. He has bizarre and potentially problematic beliefs and the bigger the platform, the more embarrassing it can get. Those 7 out of 11 media members threw him a bone by giving Tatum’s FMVP award to him, which generally I think is great because Brown deserves to be celebrated and not just yadda yadda’d as one of Tatum’s sidekicks, but with that higher profile comes more opportunities to showcase the blatant snake oil necklace stuff, the low key antivax stuff, the low key antisemetic stuff, the low key flat earth stuff, and other wildcard possibilities that Team USA probably doesn’t want a spotlight on.

In a roundabout way you can sum up #2 as “he’s not Adidas or Nike”, but I’m speaking more towards some of the reasons he doesn’t have an endorsement deal with Adidas or Nike and some have said he’s not marketable. He’s proven to be a bit of a controversial outspoken wildcard and the same reason corporations probably tread lightly around him could be why Team USA decided against bringing him in. Kyrie wasn’t invited either.

Steph is under armour make it make sense

I would love it if Steph weighed in.

Bro, I understand you feel snubbed, you’re a great player not playing in the Olympics. But you just won FMVP and a ring and have been earning millions every year for I don’t know how many years, keep the disappointment offline to your close circle. This makes you look like an entitled whiny bitch

    I’ll take Things I Don’t Give a Shit About for $800, Alex

I think people fail to remember that Brown entered the league without a agent. He’s definitely marketable..he just doesn’t care too much about that aspect of his NBA career.

Kawhi is New Balance so that hypothesis doesn’t work. More likely is his criticism of Nike and the fact that he’s not well-liked by his peers (LeBron).

Let him think that. Perhaps it’s true. Other things that could be true are:

1-it was concluded other players were a better fit

2-somebody or people don’t think he would be a good fit chemistry wise

…my conclusion: Don’t care JB. But let it motivate you brother.

Just means he’s not marketable. I dunno why but fans hated JB before his contract signing. It was never trade jason but where does JB fit the most. KD comes around and people eyeing JB as the asset. Strange strange stuff. Great “redemption” year but that dude has been JT’s big brother since the jump.

I dunno where I’m going with this except that JB olympic nonsense is weird. We know why White and Jrue are on it, not only for fit but great marketing. JB is like the Jon Snow on the celtics
