I'm with you. Growth, more important than wins next year But, Paul with Wemby could breakout. I really believe that. If they get that 2-man option workin' well, we may be in for a surprise.
Clan, I’ve been seeing video after video of you saying we’re not going to make the playoffs. Stop it. Do your due diligence and analyze the maneuvers (not moves) we’ve made in the past weeks.

I think Lowe meant after this season, Spurs will be in playoffs.
I think we have a pretty good chance of competing for a playoff spot. Nuggets won 57 games, Clippers won 51 games, and the warriors won 46 games I think all these teams lose a lot more games this season.
Who’s to say wemby doesn’t ball his butt off with Paul and Barnes to smooth out some rough edges and they elevate to a chance at a playoff spot? It doesn’t seem so far fetched imo but I get keeping your expectations in check especially as a fan and how bad the spurs have been these past few years 😭

I'd be willing to take that bet, i'd say Spurs win more than 35 games.
Look, this trade will definitely be crapped on in the future, because someone in the 8-20 range is probably gonna be a star or close to it. But we don't work with hindsight, otherwise we'd have Jokic or something. PATFO playing the long game, because they know what the financials will look for other teams in 5-10 years.

C’mon Clan….Spurs lost a bulk of their games first half of season (Sochan pg experiment). Played ALOT better closing the season. Vassell & Sochan with another year experience under their belt will be better. Added two vets in Paul and Barnes with Castle (who I believe will be a ROTY candidate) and oh yeah Wemby, who will explode this year without the minutes restrictions. This team will easily win 40 + games this year and be in the Play In conversation at the very least. Bank it!

Lowe’s point is that you can’t put a ceiling on Wemby. Theyre saying Wemby could be top 10 or higher by the end of next year. Spurs may want to slow walk to the 2025 draft, but we may not have a choice.
So it’s less about roster construction and more about how it’s possible that Wemby is that good this soon. And guys that good drag teams to the playoffs.
