If it’s up to me (it’s not), I see if Derrick Rose has second thoughts about joining our coaching staff. If he doesn’t, waive him and sign Scotty to a Vince/GG-like contract. Resign Kennard and trade Ziaire.
Between Ja and Smart, have them nurture Pippen so he can be full time PG2 come next year.

The answer to that has to be *”Fuckno!”* I just don’t see any way to argue any differently. It doesn’t mean that they need to rush to offload him for a bad deal. But surely someone’s willing to part with one of their beloved 2RPs in exchange for him.
I think the goal really ought to be to open up a roster spot before the season that they can get SPjr into or at least ***early*** in the season. He’s just been showing out this summer and proving that he deserves to be **the** backup by preseason. Like, he’s sonned every guard he’s gone up against the way that any standard NBA point guard would.
The whole *”…by December”* timeline really ought to be more a target for Cam. Get him a roster spot by 2025.
