Spurs In A Tough Spot With Victor Wembanyama
The San Antonio Spurs have themselves a real cornerstone and superstar with Victor Wembanyama. Wemby is currently on a rookie deal and adds a level of urgency to put together a competitive roster now with the new NBA CBA and while Victor Wembanyama contract is cheap.

Im not completely sold on this idea myself, but could the spurs kick over the rock of trading for Julius Randle? He has a player-option for '25-'26 but he'll likely opt out to test the frenzy filled free agency that will the '25 off-season. NYK gave up a lot of their draft capital to bring together the "Nova Squad" so I think the spurs could trade a lot of 2RDers & less favorable 1RDers with a player to get Randle. Julius seems to have been forgotten in NY, he was Injured during their recent playoff push and I think he'll be looking to get one last BIG contract in the '25 free agency class so he may have something to prove this season. I don't know how well his game would mesh with Victor & Co. But it's a thought I had
