The Minnesota Timberwolves slowed down No. 3 overall pick Reed Sheppard and the Houston Rockets as they improved to 3-1 in Las Vegas Summer League. Wolves vegas team viewed Reed Shephard as the #1 option to stop. Nix was dogging him and so were the other guys on switches.
He made adjustments in the 2nd half and looked better, but turned it over a bunch.
It looks like the Team has a plan for Nix. His summer league performance is something to build on. So far so good.
I watched the whole game and I'm on the East Coast I suffered for it cuz I had to wake up this morning but Minnesota played really good high energy basketball Rob dillingham is a great player he is a bucket but Nick is a very cerebral player he looks like a vet out there and I honestly think he should be on a roster not a two-way he was definitely being vocal and was an extension of the coach out there last night honestly he did a really good job on a really good young player really distracted him and Disturbed him and had him off his game pretty much locked them down read Shepherd will be and is a great player not taking anything from him but Nick's really really got into him last night but my take was really Minnesota has really good young talent but I honestly think Nix should solidify that backup pg if not at Minnesota another team did it to see Shannon last night but you can tell that guy's motor is different
TJ had a toe injury from my understanding.
