Why Nikola Jokic Wanted Russell Westbrook

Why Nikola Jokic Wanted Russell Westbrook

The NBA’s triple double kings on the same team?? sounds like fun to me.

  1. 2017 was by far the most exciting player in the league and I believe he still has some of that in him. A quick guy like him should be lethal with Jokic and some curl actions

  2. I hope this is a bad dream and tomorrow there'll be no discussion involving Nuggets and Westbrick.
Jesus Christ Jokic is a smart person,
it's IMPOSSIBLE he wants THIS IDIOT on the team…

  3. I am interested in seeing a line up of Jokic, Russ, MPJ, Strawther at the 2 and Saric at the 4. There's some defensive issues with that, but it would be great spacing for Russ to operate (while 3 of the starters rest).

  4. I dont beleive this is true. There are no solid, confirmed quotes from Jokic, Malone, or Booth. Rusty WestPrik will be a dumpster fire in Denver…… same as Russell Wilson was for the Broncos. #Disaster

  5. Jokić is great player, the best in Serbian history, far better than Divac and Stojaković. On the other side he is not naive, selfish and very bad egoistic person. Wolf in sheep's clothing. He doesn't like to play for national team because of lacking of patriotism . In Serbia we call him groom because he love more horses than national team. Jokić also support president of Serbia who is authoritarian ruler, madman and practically owner of Serbia. He see that personal interes in future privatisation of public lands and Hippodromes .

  6. the westbrook cope is unbelievable. usually i avoid results-based logic but my god the verdict is in folks, westbrook is not an ingredient for a winning formula period

  7. lol the nuggets are about to have a center run point and the point play the dunker … lol thats crazy

  8. Fast break points, energy off the bench, and one of the possible solutions against two big defenders defending jokic could be putting westbrook in dunker spot and three shooters outside the 3pt line. That way when Jokic attacks Westbrook roams on baseline and plays dunker spot against a taller defender which he can use to his advantage. I think this is a great move by Nuggets/Jokic.

  9. russ was the perfect player for the nuggets. i envision him as being the guy that runs the bench, mentors a lot of the younger guards like strather and alexander into becoming solid players in their future, and slots into the 1 spot in clutch minutes, moving murray to the 2 in those moments. and just imagine how unstoppable an inverted pick n roll with brodie and jok is gonna be

  10. Great video as always. Only thing I can really disagree with is saying Reggie was trash. He helped carry the load at the beginning of the year when Jamal was missing and did a solid job. Later on in the season you can say he took a dip. Coach did mention how Reggie was dealing with injuries though, and the bench seemed limited as a whole towards the end of the season for some reason. He provided more offensive production than Bruce ever did, but how that weighs against his defensive liability and the occasional games where he makes multiple costly mistakes is up to you. I'd say he is about what most teams would expect from their backup PG, never meant to bail the team out, just someone who won't completely ruin the team's momentum while starters take a breather.

  11. Russ isn't gonna fight for a starting spot, they need the bench to improve, painfully. Yes, he could start, but he needs to take over the bench unit, make it his own.

  12. Westbrook is irrelevant. You do not see "why". Stop coping. Dude was invisible in the playoffs. His "style of play" is being useless.

  13. its because jokic is smart enough to realize that russ is a great fit and exactly what they need you know its a good move when the 3x mvp stops riding horses and starts caring about basketball lmao

  14. Every year and every time he get traded people always act like he gonna do something special for the team…they will gladly pay a bench rider and bench supporter/ adviser millions for nothing

  15. Russell. At this stage of his career is one step up from Reggie at this stage definitely an upgrade also Saric is a bigger body that can still stretch the floor and offensively is bigger and much better shooter than KCP but defensively not on Pope's level or Justin's but they have other young guys that will get. More time this season and they will be improved too

  16. Russell may have a fresh energy and excitement to his game and skills this season playing with Denver

  17. 2 of the most undervalued ( Yes, I said that about a 3 times MVP) and misunderstood players of the NBA together… 2 of the best IQs … together…. ohhhh … sooooo looking forward for this….,it's gonna make sparks….
