    Basketball is, actually, the thing that drive Jokic. OK he loves the farm life and all, but you don't play NBA for at least 82 games far far away for home, then go with your national team for internationnal competition if you ain't drive by basketball in the first place.

    Jokic, Murray, Gordan, MPJ, Westbrook, I don’t see any problem, Gordan and MPJ need to work a bit more on 3s, Westbrook catch alley oops from Jokic. Westbrook’s speed can also opens up space for them, last year they were too slow against the Wolves. Come to think of it the Nuggets was actually the only team that could stand against the Celtics last play-off.

    Russ as minimum contract is a good adquisition for Denver. Clippers to be honest, they look like a lottery team and it's a possibility they trade Kahwi if he is healthy enough

    Leaving your team for a better situation usually ends up with you being in a worse one – definitely in the nba today. Teams can't just throw contracts, and when you want to get Jokic, you have to gut your team, and create a bad one. The new generation is looking at KD, Harden, Westbrook, PG13, Kawhi, and looks at Curry, Giannis and Jokic – and sees – when you stay, you usually get more rewarded (ofc, the KD warriors deal was a very specific scenario where they didn't have to gut their team)

    This is pretty braindead take to say basketball isn't important to Jokic. Look into his history. He takes basketball seriously since he was a teenager and has dedicated time to improving his craft to the point center he is today. His older brothers especially has coached him to take basketball seriously since the Detroit incident. Just because Jokic enjoys his hobbies more doesn't mean he dgaf about basketball and will retire early.

    I kinda want to disagree. With Jokic and Murray, i would love to see Westbrook be a cutter/slasher and also run fast breaks and slam it home like a 2 guard most of the time. Wouldn't hurt if he can olay a little D like in the Clippers. He can still play point and lead the 2nd squad. I'm actually interested.

    i get why russ is desired as a teammate, the guy is an all out hustler and probably the guy that can push back and get a player to play their best. all i hear is good things from actual players. the media is who bashes him. i don't think this makes them better per se. losing kcp was a big subtraction and russ is only some 75% being generous of kcp overall, mainly the age difference being why.

    russ can play fast and with defense. he can bring the ball up better than murray and will fit with jokic he is a faster/quicker gordon on offense. the only problem is the shooting is worse now. lebron system is not the jokic system its different.
