    If only.

Hard to say what’s been the issue with him. If he can get his head straight, he’s still well within his prime in terms of age.

Wishful thinking. The closest we saw to Finals Wiggs last year was when he picked up his play just before the trade deadline to stay in the Bay Area.

  3. This is copium for missing on a clear nr 2 player. If , could etc etc

Doubt it. Don’t think blocking him from playing in Canada helps either. But I mean he’s only 29 so there’s always a chance he does bounce back but it feels like wishful thinking at this point

  5. Yep, the odds are a longshot at best, it’s extremely uncommon, just look at the history of the NBA.

  6. I’m sure he’s a good person, but I don’t think he has that “killer” instinct.

When healthy and focused, he has all the skills and physical gifts. Whether it be family issues or the traumatic fallout of the Draymond fiasco with punching JP-3, he seems mentally lost.

He seems pretty close with JP-3 and it’s tough to see a friend leave similar to Klay leaving the “Splash Brothers.” It’s going to take some serious time to move past it, but the NBA will not wait for anyone.

I just saw an episode on YouTube with Shaq stating: “As I get older, I started to reflect…” Shaq personally came full circle and realized his past antics/decisions were major mistakes. He sincerely apologized to Penny Hardaway. Shaq realized they could’ve done great things together.

The regrets that we all live with in life, and there’s many…

The fact that we have to keep asking this question should be your answer

As an observer idk Wigs never seems like he was fully invested in ball. I think he loves the game but it isn’t his life obsession like some of the greats. After hearing some guys refer to it as a job I think he’s in that camp. I empathize with his family dilemma, but as another user said the NBA doesn’t wait for people. I’m not holding my breath. I think he possesses all the skills to be the second scorer but I have yet to see it other than one run. Appreciate his contribution in 2022.

Finals Wiggins was an absolute anomaly in his career. He’s forever going to be the stereotype of “all the tools, none of the drive” athlete

I wish he had that same drive. But for whatever reason, he’s lost it. He had it for a couple years. There’s another post point out how his defense went from an F for like his first 5 years, then an A with us, and then he stopped caring last year and went to a C-.

And he used to be good for 17ppg, but that dropped to 13ppg last year. We lost 11 games by 3 points or less, and missed the 6th seed by 4 wins.

Players and fans have been saying it Wiggs’ whole career. Minne fans told us when he got traded. He’s always had the ability to be great. He just didn’t care before he got traded, and he stopped caring last year.

I wish he did care. We would’ve made the playoffs last year if he cared. And we wouldn’t be having this issue now if he cared. But he doesn’t give a shit anymore.

He’ll bounce back have a solid year, y’all need to chill

Only if they spike adderall in his gatorade.

It took iggy screaming in the sidelines to see “finals wiggs”

The length of his career has been this guy overall. The finals run and the half season leading to it was the BLIP.
