  1. Holy hyperbole. If we missed with the 31st draft pick, shit happens. The odds of this pick being a hit are super low. And frankly I wanted nothing to do with Filipowski and his weird Mormonism.

  2. Bobby_Webster

We’ve barely seen Mogbo and Filipowski hasn’t even looked that good. He had one actually good game. Also had 9 fouls in his last game

  3. delta_vel

Im not pushing the panic button on any picks until they’ve been with the 905 for a full season

  4. AniviaPls

If anything furphy was a better pick, but mogbo has been fine chill

  5. Taking conclusion 20 days after the draft is a mistake .

    What a ridiculous article.

I am not saying some of the concerns aren’t valid .

But already talking about “full blown mistake” is such an overstatement and makes the full analysis’ lack credibility.

There is a valid rational or argument to be made about different choices being made on draft day.

But the story is yet to be written.

Mogbo has only played two SL games . And he is already written off?

What a hilarious article. How do these people get jobs.

Who cares about the opinion of someone who has less than 500 Twitter followers and writes for a nothing website?

Raptors Rapture is the hottest of gahbage! This take reeks, especially this early.

    > Mogbo duplicates the Raptors’ best player, so even if he adds the necessary skill to earn a spot on an NBA court, he will be relegated on this team to playing only when Barnes does not.

The answer seems to be right in the article itself. Mogbo is backup for Barnes when he needs to take breathers. You get continuity in playing style instead of having to do a 180 every time Barnes enters or leaves the court.

It would be great if Mogbo develops into more than that, but even if that becomes his ceiling, that’s a good return at #31.

I thought this was gonna be trading ochai

What the fuck at Mogbo hate? Hes been fine

Overreaction but I did want Filipowski. Personal stuff aside, he was the BPA in my opinion and a perfect long term fit for us. I try not to get hung up on character issues stuff unless it’s the person being embroiled in legal issues.

  12. WeBelieveIn4

It’s crazy that a fanbase that hyped up Malachi Flynn over Lamelo Ball still has people drawing overdramatic conclusions from summer league

  13. Raptorsthrowaway1

I definitely was surprised we didn’t take Furphy or Filipowski. But this is way too early to be grading these picks as a full blown disaster 😂😂

  14. Proof_Citron8584

I’m not necessarily mad we didn’t take filip or one of the people that dropped but I just don’t understand how we had like a whole day and couldn’t find a trade down to like 38-40 to select mogbo

  15. pakattack91

    >and after just a few weeks appears to be bordering on the edge of disaster

    Lmaoo what a child’s take

  16. heat_fan_

Why are we judging players after 4-5 summer league games let’s wait until the NBA season starts and see how Mogbo and Fliokowski are doing before we start jumping the gun

  17. Emergency_Rub2621

Why do people treat 18-21 year olds like they’re 27? The only “prospect” doing bad is Ochai. All of our picks from this year have showed they have talent, they’ll just need time to develop and that is okay, that is the norm for 99% of players.

Imagine spending time in your life making unsuccessful click bait articles

man this is gonna be a long off season and an even longer regular season, isn’t it

  21. MachineTop215

The mistake here is considering Raptors Rapture to be actual press

  22. klobucharzard

mods wont let me post raptor moments videos anymore but im glad some good content is still getting thru

  23. jamiecballer

I’m not sure I get what qualifies anyone to declare taking a shot on Caboclo misplaced. I mean he has obvious professional level skill as evidenced by the fact he’s still playing professional basketball unlike, no doubt, some of his peers.

  24. sadrapsfan

The discourse around summer league this year is ridiculous lmao.ets revist next year, I actually loved the picks we had, idgaf bout these pick up games lol.

  25. Premature take from a click bait website. Way too early, the work has only just got started.

  26. fredmratz

When you draft for high-upside late in the draft, all you can hope for is flashes of usefulness over their rookie season.

  27. The reason people passed on Filipowski had nothing to do with his skill level. It’s off the court stuff and Urah is probably the best place for him.
